Hi. I have two little plants and I'm trying to grow them right now in north california. I was wondering if anybody thinks they might know anything about growing in this time of year being fall recently started. I'm not positive what strain they are. I got them from some weed i bought but the wood was cool so hopefully the weed i grow will be cool.

I grew 6 plants last winter(Harvested right around january) I live in central california. Keep them close to your house, that will be the least likely to freeze. At night we kept a 60w cfl on them when vegging and I think when budding. It can be done but the weed will be very fluffy, the good thing about it is if you can keep them around until next year(alive) pull your buds but leave enough greenery(leaf AND bud) to keep the plant alive, it will be good to you when it's actually time to grow outdoors(huge plant great buds great smell love it) we grew Jedi Kush.

EDIT: It was worth it even with the fluffy weed because it gave us some extra smoke and it still was potent and flavourful if not dense :)

Actually - we just pulled the plants for the 2nd time yesterday night :)

Haha neither of you have seen a successful winter grow and in this area it is possible. Keep a light on it, keep it warm, feed it etc. You will get SMOKABLE buds, they will be fluffy and airy but they will be there. Do not listen to those without the experience of an outdoor winter grow. It does work and it will provide you with smoke, go for it. We got 1 lb off 6 plants - not much but it is enough to get you through what you need to do.
