i have a pretty decent sized vegetable garden area, but it's right next to the fence

i'm thinking of growing a few plants in between corn - it would be well hidden, but i'm just nervous of neighbors seeing it threw the fence

what do you think?

depends on how well you know your neighbors!!!

the veggie patch is normally a good spot but i just don't like the idea of people being able to see them..

if your going to grow in a garden wait till late may to put out seedlings. your yeild will be hindered slightly but they wont get as big. or you could prune them and put em out now

I grow out in my garden. I'm having a problem with people trying to steal plants, but that's the only problem I have. Jasmine and gardenia are good for hiding the smell.

corn works well because a square patch will provide a 5ft wall.

but corn by itself will not do. marijuana is easy to detect in corn patches via helicopter and heat signiture cameras.

the best crop to grow marijuana in is tomatoes. you can weave the marijuana plants through the tomatoe plants and what you use to support them.

but overcrowding tomatoes and weed plants together will lead to weak small tomatoe plants and less smokes.

I know this is an old post but I figured I would add my 2 cents in case anyone else stumbled across it. First off, for anyone who thinks that govt choppers detect the heat signature of a plant, thats ridiculous. MJ does not give off a heat signature that is high enough to stand out PERIOD. The infrared cameras are strictly for detecting heat pockets in houses or heat clouds coming from houses for indoor grows.

The cameras they use on choppers to detect MJ outdoors are color sensitive. They detect anything in the green spectrum, and they look for a cluster of plants that is much greener than everything else around it. See when pot is in full bloom and nice n pretty, everything else is starting to die off. Even the stuff that is still left alive is such a darker shade of green, that MJ stands out like a sore thumb even to the naked eye sometimes.

That said, I am planning on growing 2-4 Diesel Ryders in my garden this year. I figure growing them among tomato plants and cucumber will be best for me. The best thing about Diesel Ryders (or any autoflowering strain) is that I will be chopping them down in mid to late July, when everything else is still lush and green as well. With a normal strain, you arent chopping till late august to early October. So just be sure that if you plant a reg strain in your garden, that you keep the garden up all through the summer so that the bright green pot plants dont stick out come august to september.

Peace

the whole neighbor thing is shady if their not cool....i got cool neighbors i think....lol i would try to give them a full sun spot in the garden....meaning plant whatever is going to be ur cover at least 2 ft from mj....you can also start in pot then put pot in deeper hole in ground....thats a great idea. also plan on LSTing.......for sure.....i attest this will work for smaller plants. if ya want pounds get a privacy fence....gl
