Growing 6-12 plants. Which lighting system?

I am planning to grow 6-12 plants (probably only 4-6 to start with but up to 12 in the future) in an Ebb & Grow hydro System. I'm starting with mostly feminized Jack Flash and one Northern Lights (and plan to move on to other strains in the future). My question is: What lights should I buy to grow these plants? Two 400W or two 600W ? Are the 600s too much for my operation? I was looking at Sunlight Supply Sun Tube HPS with wings..........

Two 600s are a bit much for that number. I would go with one, but purchase an extra in case you should decide to grow more.

I could always go back and purchase a second when and if I decide to expand my operation too. No need to spend all that money at once if not necessary at this time... How would two 400W work as opposed to one 600W? What are the benefits/disadvantages of each setup?

Still a bit much. Im doing 9 under one 400w just fine. maybe go with the 600 and see how your first grow is. Gotta think about that elec. bill too.
