Hi ganja farmers, im gonna try in this thread to prove you that the LED PANELS sold on eBay for $35 is just a scam! gonna provide you some photos and give you updates of my grow till harvest day!

This is a berry bomb that on GH waterfarm 5 Gal system. Always used Advanced Nutrients and got good results, but since cheaper products are available in the market im going to do some grow tests with different nutes (Dyna, GH...). In this Grow i used the 3 Parts FloraSeries from GH with some Cal Mg sup. and root accelerator. Notice that i hooked up my Waterfarm system with two 6" Round Air-Stones and this something i recommande for anyone using same thing.

I wont be long... in the next pics a berry bomb 8 WEEKS VEG WITH LED PANELS 24h LIGHT!!! from day 1 till i switched back to MH to finish my veg, topped it, and save my plant, you will notice that the plant stays small and have a slow growth!!!

After MH for 2 more weeks 18h. i switched to 12h/12h and it started flowering. now it's under 600W HPS 12h and it's doing really great!! didn't take any pics while MH veg but i did yesterday cuz i did LST the plant. SO THIS IS 2 weeks (Veg) 4 Days later (Flower).

Ok I am confused. You said that this was a Ebay cheap LED test grow but then you switched to HPS half way threw? From the looks of the first pics under LED the plant was doing well, a bit stretchy but you did have the LEDs up a little too high IMO. You want LEDs right on the plant, like 3-5 inched from the top of the canopy. Looks like those LEDs will do well for veg at the least.

The plant is doing well bro but the growth is so slow!!! the LED were less then 4inch far i just bring them up to take pictures. during all 8 weeks the plant was less then 6". i sold them half price to a friend and i advised him to use them with his CFL and it seems to work well for him.

Sorry this thread is a fail since you did not go threw flower with the cheap LEDs. If you had then you could say NO these lights will not work for flower or HELL YES these cheap lights are the best thing ever. Slow growth could be from several other things other than just the lighting. By the growth of the plant in the pics I would say that it is an indica dom stain and they tend to stay shorter and bushier than sativas. Other factors are the nutes, temp, water temp, Co2 levels so I would not put the growth blame on the LED alone. They look to be great as a veg light.

Berrybomb feminized is mostly a Sativa and should reach under great conditions up to 1.20m. CO2 Level and ventilation as well as humidity are monitored by Autopilot complete system. and everything seems fine. this isn't my first growth or first Berrybomb stain. if you cannot blame the LEDs how can you explain that the plant went 3 times bigger after light change since all other factors didn't change!! Plus, many other growers have same opinion as me! these 14W panels does not worth the time and the yield you want to have! other LED UFO are very good but i didn't tried 'em yet. So, if you are using these light alone, don't expect much yield.

^^^My point is you will never know what it would yield because you did not let the plant finish out under the LED. I dont think you would have had a very good harvest but you could at least say "look see how crappy or how great this LED works". And no under good conditions a plant should not stretch much, they will stretch some with the flip to flower but should not stretch in veg unless they are reaching for the light. I am all about T5 lighting and I am having good results. Any HPS will out shine a LED in growth rate, HID lighting is still the best but T5 and LED are coming along nicely. My father in law is growing with an expensive 250 watt LED panel and the results are nothing to write home about, great veg growth but small popcorn buds that are light and airy.

Quick update guys. this one weeks flowering. cut some leaves off to give more energy to the tops. some was telling me this is not good but i think the plant is reacting good! have some nut burn cuz of flowering nutes swap but that shouldn't be a problem.

I popped 5 berry bomb seeds and have done several runs of this strain, but am actually planning on phasing it out myself as it didn't produce the kind of buds I was looking for. It smokes great, good flavor and high but there are things I don't like. I grow very large plants, and this guy stretches. The buds are not very dense, definitely fluffier than any other strain I have running, and it makes for a bitch in trimming too. Overall yield compared to my other strains was comparable but the fluffiness of the buds hurts bag appeal in my opinion. In my 5 seeds, 2 had a pheno of very lemony scent and those were my keepers. Kind of reminds me of like pine sol, but in a good way. Also compared to my other plants these seemed to be alot more picky about the nutrients. I think maybe they just needed alot more than my other girls, but probably makes it a bit more difficult than average to grow. My other girls will stay pretty happy with an average feeding schedule, this guy yellows out, drops an exceptional amount of leaves and just doesnt seem happy. Branches on this are thin so I have to stake this shit out of these early and often.

I didn't post this to discourage you, just wanted to throw in my experience. The end product from even the phenos I didn't keep were top notch smoke in regards to flavor and high. These also are a pretty quick finisher, all phenos definitely harvestable under 8 weeks though I usually tend to let them run a little longer.
