Grow Tents

Does anyone know if the issue with the grow tents producing gasses that kills the plants have been resolved yet. I'm thinking about getting a sun hut or hydro hut.

It depends which tent you buy. Dont buy any with PVC or any of the old ones floating around under sketchy names. Buy off of a reputable company. Homebox is great. I heard the new Secret Jardin DR are good, and the Hydrohut Silver Edition.

The off gassing was with PVC based tents.

Seen on a different sight yesterday that hydro hut got they're new tents out and no more problems

Secret Jardin Grow Tents are incredible. I keep my mothers and clones in separate vegetative photo periods using the Dark Room line of tents, and there is enough ventilation ports, and whatnot to even flowering in... They also just came out with a line of tents called the "Mammoth" system which is pretty much massive expandable tents, so you have areas for clones, vegging, mothers, accessories, etc. Pretty rad stuff... I wonder how long it will be before another company tries to hijack the idea.

I've been hearing alot about the secret jardin tents so thats a good sign. I dont know where everyone is getting them but that name is definately popping up everytime we talk about grow tents.

I use the homebox. It works well. Very intuitive design. I don't have any experience with other tents, but the homebox seems very well put together and thought out.

I had not heard about a prob with gasses and grow tents.

I bought a Secret Jardin a couple of weeks ago to use as a veg room. I got the DR60.

I found a Hydroponics shop near me via the GrowBox website, but when I got there he recomended that I got a SecretJardin tent.

It is an excellent piece of kit! I use it with a 125w cfl. I use a small/tall table to raise the small plants toward the light but this allows enough room to grow a couple of mother plants too.

I did pay over the odds for mine (£100 - found it for £75 or so on line) but I paid cash and collected so it lessens the chance of being traced and busted.
