OK,
I just bought and had delivered a grow tent similar to a hydro hut mini. I just assembled it, and im chillin here with it waitin for my lighting to show up, and i just got to thinking about my ventilation. The fans i have are passive 4" inline imitation canfans from HTG supply.com. They really arent strong at all. Also, i have the tent in my closet, and the 4" ducting holes in the back (one on the bottom for air intake, and one on the top for exhaust) are too close to the wall, so it wouldnt seem logical to hook the fans up to those holes.
Now, i DO have one 6" hole on each side of the tent, plus two 6" holes on the top of the tent. n my problem is this:
Im not sure how to set up all my ventilation altogether. I have a 600w system coming w/cooltube, and i already am getting a 6" vortex to aircool the light by itself(basically hooking the fan up to the hole on one side, ducting to the light, n on the other end of the light more ducting, and out the other hole), but now i need to worry about air intake and exhaust. I am gonna have to get a stronger 4" fan for my charcoal filter, and im gonna hook it up with ducting, and then a flange reducer, and ducting out of one of the holes in the top of the tent, so thats covered too for air exhaust. Now, my question would be,
what the hell am i gonna do for air intake? i dont know if a passive 4" imitation fan thats blowing 80cfm is gonna do it for sufficient air intake.
Does anybody have any suggestions? Anyone with experience with a similar problem would really seriously help me out. I dont want my shit to get too hot n die on me.
