Grow tent question...do you guys use 2 carbon filters and fans to help airflow in the tent?

One is good. Exhaust vent through the roof gets the scrubber. You can run the tent passive with just an open vent on the bottom or pair it with an intake fan.

I use 2 filters on one exhaust fan.
1on the inlet inside the tent, 1 on the end of exhaust that vents in another section of the house. Been doing it 2+ years. No issue, no smell.
One filter isn't enough to catch all the smell.

Are you filtering the incoming air? If so, what good is that?

Maybe not all filters are built the same? Maybe the 30 dollar one isn’t comparable to the 200 dollar ones.

The smallest filter I found that actually works is the can 66. I wish these small filters worked because hanging a 40lb filter isn't fun. I've tried acinfinity regular and xl as well as vivosun.

1 is plenty at right cfm for air exchange. You can add a second one 2 the room around the tent, just filter directly connected to fan standing in the room for extra smell control if you like tho

One on the exhaust fan intake in the tent...
And another on the outlet of the exhaust ducting.
Make more sense now?
That way the air is double scrubbed. If you look deep enough into any filterbrand manufacturer's information they tell you a single scrub will NOT clear out all of the odor.

It doesn't matter the brand, you get far enough into flower with decent smelling weed, one scrub with one filter isn't gonna remove all the smell.

A trick taught to me by a buddy; get a size up filter. If you have a 6" inline fan, get a 8" filter and a 8-to-6 flange to attach it.

Depends on the fan. The filter adds a lot of resistance. Some fans won't overcome that.
Do you find running 2 carbon filters as you are puts pressure on your fan?

It really does. I never appreciated how much until I removed my fans (when legality changed) The difference was a lot bigger than I realized.
