Grow Tent In Bedroom

Howdy Folks,

I'll be purchasing a 3' x 3' grow tent in the fall and need some advise on where to put it. I'm considering my bedroom as a possible location but I'm not sure if it's too noisy. The tent will have a carbon filter and duct fan, not sure how much noise the fan makes.

i use a bungee cord to hang the fan, it reduces a lot of the noise associated with running the fan and filter.

depends on the fan size and if the ballast has a fan, but personally I could not tolerate the noise in my bedroom at night

but if one can schedule the grow room's dark hours during your normal sleeping hours, then no conflict of interest

It would be annoying... The little light leaks, the light from the power button on the ballast, Possible rise in temps in the room, the noise from the fan is annoying no matter what you do plus the smell of your plants sometimes. All in all it is a big annoying sacrifice.. I could sleep in my spare room if I had to, but I wouldn't really want to.

Think about where you will exhaust the heat to.. I cut a 4" hole in my bedroom wall that leads into the living room and out the sliding door.

Oh, yea, one more thing. Your fan will likely need to run 24/7 when in flower.
