Grow space temp

Greetings, I am useing 4 x 42w CFL bulbs now and my grow space is getting up past the 90 degree mark. I dont have any ventalation system in the space except a box fan blowing in. Anyway my question is, can I leave the door to the space open to keep the temps down? Is the CFL light being depleated by keeping the door open? If i just shut the door to the space even 1/2 way it drops the temp down to an acceptable level.

Make a hole in the top w/ a fan to suck the heat out. Don't really want to be above 90°…

always use an intake of fresh air and an exhaust for stale hot air, it helps in the long run, toss in a home made carbon filter while you're at it, you'll be glad you did. The investment is minimal

My fan actually makes it hotter in my grow closet, Farfenugen is completely right. If you don't want to cut holes you will have to leave the door ajar.
