Grow Room vs. Grow Tent

Hi everyone, i'm new to this and will be my first grow. I was thinking about buying a 78x78x78 grow tent. My question is will this be big enough for the plants to grow Tall. What should I do get the grow tent or build a grow room?

Please help need some good advice. Just became a medical user.

I'd say just build one out of wood, you can choose the dimentions and it'll end up being cheaper. If you want tall plants just make the box as tall as it can be in the room you wish to put it in. Good luck with the meds man!

Grow tents are nice if you aren't very handy at building stuff. I use a 4.5x4.5x6.5 grow tent for flower. That allows me to have my veg area outside the tent, in the same room. Works great for a small operation like mine. I just wish I had another small one for mothers somewhere.

I had a 10x10ft tent with 4 600s. I built a room and threw a 600 dollar tent away, not literally but its collecting dust. The thing i dont like about the grow tents are weight limits and you cant wall mount anything.. Now in my built room i have wall mounted my Ballasts 18" wall mount fans drilled the hooks for the lights into the ceiling. cut out the intake and exhausts... You get the picture, I feel a built room in more professional.

Totally depends on your situation, if you are a renter, you def may want to go with the tent, to make moving easy. With tents however, be ready to purchase some equipment, and everything will be clean and pretty where as built rooms, can be brought up to speed with jerry-rigging and function well. My biggest priority is simplicity..... and ease of care.
