Whats up girls and gents ? i have a entire bedroom thats bein lended to me for use for a grow setup. I have used both tentS/growboxes and bedrooms in the past. MY most recent harvest was this past motherday inwhich i had 2 tents with 6 3gAL smart pots in each with a 600 hps and 400 mh in both. SO MY QUESTION IS now thats i have a full bedroom again what should i do use the tents for clone/veg and the rest of the room for flower? or vice versa flower in both tents and use the room for veg/clone/moms and or workshop/workspace. Currently i have 2 400watt mhs and 2 600watt hps i just orderd 2 new 1000hps for the new operation so i will have
2:600watt hps
2:400watt mh
2:1000watt hps these can all be put to my flower setup and i can use the 4 ft cfl fixures i have along with a t5 for /clones/veg PLEASE GIVE ME IDEAS FOR MY MEW STEUP OPEN FOR ALL SUGGESTIONS..THANKS guys and girls hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday season:eyesmoke:

are you going to be fishing any new wires with breakers or using the existing outlets?
what voltage are you going to be using 120 or 240?

im going to use all exsisting outlets its on the second floor of a house my buddy lives on the first floor SECOND is vacant 3rd his mother so its really the only power being used so i wasnt really worried about the using exsisting breakers/boxes i plan on using the room for 6-12 months make some cash and get my own house preferablly 1 family i dont like the rent thing cuz of other tennants smell/odor reason but its a friend so its safe but ANY how im pretty szure everything is 120v reg outlets i could be wrong

yes 120 volt, would be the norm for living quarters. is it like a 3 storey house or like a town house with three seperate entrances? if a house than i would double check if the room circuit is connected to any of the others floors. dont want to have to keep flipping breakers.

U better plan on having each of those lights on a different circuit or your gunna burn ur shit down. If you can't afford an electrician that means running extension cords from outlets on different circuits to the bedroom.

800w of MH will cover about 16 sq feet (assuming you're not going for a vertical grow or something fancy?).
The 3200w of HPS will cover 62 sq ft.

I would use the 16 sq ft of MH as the veg area.
2000w of HPS as 40 sq ft flowering area.
This leaves you the 2 x 600w spare.
You could add extra for any light density issues, if the flowering part starts to get vey overgrown with fat bud (a person can hope!).

The mothers/cuttings area could be part of the veg - simply include a 600 HPS with your 2 x 400 MH's and increase the space from 16 to 28sq ft.

I just cannot imagine that you'd need 3200w of flower power (or 64sq ft to 80sq ft) at 50w or 40w per sq ft, if you're just usng the 2 x 400w MHs for a 16 to 20sq ft veg area.

All the working out is based on 50w per sq feet.
The last two are based on 50w and 40w per sq feet.
