Grow Room Setup Feedback

Hello all I'd like a bit of feedback on my upcoming project any and all will be appreciated.

I have a room of usable space 11'x11'x8' this room is somewhat akward in actual dimensions. I'm debating wether to get two 600W systems or one 1000W system. The 600W systems will cover the entire room real good but in the long run cost more with conversion bulbs. Though the 1000W system should be able to handle pretty much the the entire coverage of this room. Electric cost is of a concern to me so I've chosen lower lighting schedules.

My chosen timing:

2 weeks - 1 month vegging dependent on strain 15-16 hrs light

8-11 weeks flowering dependent on strain and thrichome peak 10-12 hrs light

At the moment I'm stuck on ventilation - inline fan, carbon filter & passive intake.

11'x11'x8 = 968 cu.ft
968 cu.ft /3 minute exchange = 323 rounded CFM

I also ran across a site that factors in light heat and carbon filter connection on the intake. So I came up with a minimum of 404CFM for filter & fan.

More details to follow with equipment chosen and setup.

why don't u want to have two growing areas for veg and flower?

Ha good question I had missed that. DOH ! I think my conclusion to that was electric cost. I guess I could use the closet as a mother/veg room or section some space in this room. The closet was supposed to be my dry room and utility room lol.

But good question desertrat

The longest wall is 13' while the other wall is 11' due to the exterior design. LOL!
oh i see... cause if it was L shaped I'd say def two lights... but with that... it's kind of just a personal opinion really... two 600 would put out a good bit more than the 1000... but your right your bulb cost would be higher... your overall cost would be higher for that matter
