Grow Room Setup.. all suggestions welcome

Hi Folks...

Looking for some suggestions/recommendations on the order I am about to place for my indoor grow... all comments and ideas welcome... Thanks all, much appreciated!

So here is the setup (will be bought at www.hydroponics.eu):

HomeBox Grow Tent XXL - 240w x 120d x 200h (www.homebox.net)
x2 600w - Sonlight AGRO Lamps
x2 COOL TUBE - Shade Reflector
x2 Electronic Ballast Sonlight 600w
x1 Inline Air Extractor RVK Indoor UFO 20cm (950m3/h)
x1 Carbon Filter (1000m3/h)
x1 CO2 Complete System 500g + Release Kit
x4 High Performance Fan Growtech 12x12cm


The few questions I do have are:

1.) Will two 600w lamps do the job in the space I have? Also should I go fot the AGRO Bulbs or the HPS ones?

2.) Any recommendations between the COOL TUBE reflectors and the Robolux Sonlight Reflector (Hydroponics Shop – Robolux Sonlight Reflector)

3.) Any suggestions on INTAKE fans and getting air in to tent? What should I do or order for this?

4.) Is the Air Extractor sufficient to cope with these lights, as they are air cooled?

5.) Nutrients... I have no idea which brand to go for, or what I need, all ideas welcome on this one.. again refer to this site, since I will order all from here.. Hydroponics Growshop - Indoor gardening hydroponic systems and plant growing equipment.

6.) CO2 - No idea how this works? Some info on this would be great... how does it release? Is it easy to work with?

7.) FINALLY, well at least for the time being , how many plants would one recommend for this setup. I am using White Widows in soil - 5.5 ltr (25cm) pots.

everything sounds good except the tent. people seem to run into a lot of problems growing in tents and other small spaces due to heat buildup. that would be the number one concern. i'd say take it out of the tent if you have that option.

ya tents need a bit better air flow then the ones that i have seen so far

use of 2 600 in that small space just wont work to much heat i doubt if u would fit 2 in there comfortable anyway as for food the easy guide for us i presume u are a uk resident is to use canna products coco a +b rhizotonic boost /pk13/14 cannazym.
u need to know what quantity u tend to mix up in dont forget your ph to be checked before and after nutrients have been added in our country they tend to switch resevoirs pretty regular, sends your ph crazy any more questions np let me know
it sounds like u bought some good gear but have not got a clue how to use it ,lot of money spent there u been smoking to much lately lol

The reason I was putting it in a tent was to give me the rest of the room to use for drying and potentially cloning.

Can I improve on the air ventilation etc with the tent or should I consider lesser watts per light or go with one 1000w?? As with everything.. trying to get the max out of what I have available and been working on the more watts per m2 / more yield ??

Have not bought it yet.. is my current shopping cart list.. hence getting some valued feedback from you guys... cheers

would air con into the tent assist in anyway or be an alternative??

it is wise to think about the end but 1st u need to begin the 1st chapter before u can move to the end of the book.
think how many plants u want to grow is it for profit or supply free smoke.
co2 u can use welding gas with a regulator most mechanics shops sell them clarke from machine mart.
just use it manually squirt some in from time to time.

thre are some co2 kits that i see in max yield mag that are some kind of fungus thing i think and they have no heat to them and suppossed to had good output but i dont remember the name of it but you can find maximumyield - dot - com and browse
