Grow Room Setup Advice

Hi,

I used to grow back in the day, but on a very small scale and got caught for it. So stopped.

I'm going to get back into it again, growing for personal use for myself and my friends but on a little larger scale. I basically want to grow around 10 plants at a time, but also have a little room in order to keep the cycle going so that when one finishes another is half way through.

I have limited space, as I will be doing this in my room. I live in a rented house.

I also want to do this right, and grow some decent buds. So I'd like to ensure there is enough CO2 going into the area and enough ventilation as well as heat.

Because the room is in an attic I was wondering if there is anything available to "hide" the heat from thermal imaging.

As well as that, is there any techniques for ensuring there are no smells, or very little smells.

And roughly whats the price on all this (as cheap as possible). I will be reading around the forums now, but if anyone can recommend any good books and what not, that would be great. I have about a month before I begin to set all this up.

Thanks for any advice. Greatly appreciated.

I'm thinking about a grow tent, big enough to hold 5-7 plants. Using a HPS bulb. But whats puzzling me is the equipment needed to provide CO2 into the room and equipment for getting rid of the smell. I'd love hydroponics, but they can be expensive so I'll stick with soil growth atm.

Again, opinions valued.

Yes there are ways to mask the heat signature. Heat Shield.

As far as smells, and you use a grow tent, then a Ionic breeze running 24/7 outside the tent will help. Also use a carbon filter on your exhaust air.

co2 can be handled by a environmental controller with fan speed adjustments and photo eye and ... lots of goodies and lots of $. About $400 list.
