Grow room help please :)

Hey everyone I need your help in making a simple 2-5 plant grow room and need a lot of opinions and up and down sides of things. I'm pretty new to this... but I've done a lot of research so I'll start with saying what I have and we will go from there :)

Okay... Basically I have a good size closet area to house a small grow room (about 2-10 plants). Still deciding on how many. I also Have a personal Air Conditioning setup for that room. I also have outlets (ways of electricity) and basically I just need opinions and help on either making a cheap hydroponic system for 2-10 plants or use soil. I am a super fast learner... And can learn anything I try to learn. I also need to know what THE BEST lights are to use and detailed advice on how I should set the lights up so I can get a lot of ideas for myself and use bits and pieces of everyone's information given.

Summary:
-What way of growing (hydroponics,soil aeroponics.. etc.) (Details Please)
- What LIGHTS should I use?? (IMPORANT) :)
- And anything else any of you may think That I need to know about before I jump into this amaing experience :)

Soil is fairly easy for a first timer. For 2-10 plants you can use anything from a 250 watt to a 600 watt. But i would go with the 4 or the 6. All depends on if you plan on expanding later. HPS (high pressure sodium) is probably your best bet as far as light goes. They are not quite as good for veg but make those dense fat nugs we all want during flowering. you could dish out 200 to 500 bux or you could just get some cfls they arent professional but are you?

I'm confused......

You said you've done alot of research and your a fast learner.
I don't think you've done alot of research.....maybe you looked up a couple of things, but your asking very simple baby questions.
I've been growing for years...and I've read about a dozen books and I still look up things all the time. When you grow....it's research, research,
research, and more research.
Don't expect people here to take your hand and help you across the street. You'll probably end up listening to a noobie
who doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground, and end up doing the wrong thing.
Your best bet is to buy a couple of books on indoor horticulture. Get a good idea on what plants need to survive and grow in an indoor enviroment.
Seriously....Go to Amazon.com and look up marijuana growing. Dozen's of books will pop up. Read a few and in a couple of weeks you'll know more than most people on this forum.
