Grow Room...comments and/or suggestions

2' by 4' unused bathroom shower stall
Tiled white walls/white floor
400W MH w HPS for later
Humudifier-humidity at 50%
Temp at 78 degrees
Homemade ceiling cover with white computer paper
2 bottles fermenting yeast-CO2 distrubuted by oscillating fan
No need yet to cool light but it does have 6" vents on both ends

Plants are all at various stages with the oldest being 2 weeks and the youngest at 4 days

Any comments or suggestions would be apprecisted by this first time grower...grow just for personal use so not a big setup. Thanks everyone.

get ridda the yeast unless your making some bread =) other than that it looks like your on your way, what kinda soil and nutrients are you using? also whats up with the paper ceiling?

you dont really need co2 in a room unless you have a huge grow room

The ceiling is my attempt (successful ) at attempting to control the temp and humidity by making the area smaller. Before the cardboard the temp. was approaching 95 degrees and humidity was too low at 27% even with the humidifier. I decided to reduce the heat from the lamp by isolating the hottest part from the plants and was sujccessful and since have been able to remove the fans from the lamp and the area stays at a steady 78 degrees and 50% humidity. The cool air from the humidifier help keep the smaller area cooler.The yeast setup is an experiment to try to increase the CO2 in the room. I figured it cant hurt. Thanks again I really appreciate everyone on this site.

happy growing! but did you say you removed the fans? the fans make it so your stems get strong because they are constantly fighting the wind

I am using Black Gold soil and no nutrients yet...the soil says it feeds plants for six months which may or may not be true but presents a problem as I think you are supposed to stop nutrients 2 weeks before harvest...not sure what I am going to do about that other than a major flush or let the plants grow longer than I had planned.

I remover the fans I had on my 400W light but still have the oscillating fan blowing on the plants. The temp is perfect in the room now without the fans on the light so I turned them off. Thanks for the help.

i never tried the black gold, but you are good for atleast 6 weeks, flush if you want to dumb it down, but your plants will tell you to do so, in the case of the cieling, nice job, a clever facker aintchya

Thanks for the input...if I was really a clever facker I would have a better nicname like yours or "Widow Maker" or "MR. Ganja"
