Grow room catastraphy!!

Hi all, this is my first grow and i'm having major problems, the biggest is the fact that my soil isn't drying out.... i managed to sort out the tempreture (which is now 25-26c at light and 18-19c at dark) and the humidity is 50%, the the cuboard is 3x3x4.5ft, i am using bio-bizz all mix, mixed in 50-50 with perlight to help with absobtion and its still not doing it, I am also only using a flurecent stip light but it hangs and about 3-4 inches above the pots... i have seeds in but nothing has com up yet. and finally my lighting hours are running for growing at the mo so 18hours of light a day. can someone please help . thanks in advance,

Rob

the soil WILL dry, the closer the light and the more air circulation the worse it will.

but it will take a minute, and think about it like this there is nothing IN the soil to drink it or absourb it.

i DONT know Celsius, LOL DUH DUH dumber than the dirt on the ground i guess, but that sounds cold. witch will make it LONGER for the dirt to dry. u wont need to water thoseeds man, they dont got rootz!

the seeds will take a week or 2 to poke out.

did u germinate them at all??? that helps ALOT.

PS this is FAR from a catatstraphy. lol.

sorry, forgot to mension that.... the temp is warm and is exactly what i was told to use have, its 77-78.8F in light and 64.4-66.2F in dark. the seeds are germinated (in moist towels on a plate covered by another plate) unti the root is a quarter of an inch.... they dont seem to grow any bigger at all, even afer a week after they get that size when germinating.
