Grow room advice

I currently am on my 4th grow and for the first time I'm going full bedroom. I've got 12 plants under a 600 watt hps with 6 fluorescent lights. Although they are still in flowering they are standing about shoulder height so I'm about to get ready to start buding. I am very concerned about the smell, last time I had 3 plants 7 feet tall in a tent and I could smell them in the front yard and downstairs. So I started looking into DIY carbon filters and ozone generators. The DIY ozone gens kind of scared me so that's kind of out of the question with the gas it could produce. And price wise you can get a standard carbon filter on amazon for the price of some DIY filter. Does anyone have a great way to kill the smell? I'm willing to do a DIY just would prefer to know what is involved and if it will help will my size of room(12'x10'x10' roughly)Thanks guys

thats a big room you need more light but youll need a real filter for all that min i would go is an 8" fan with a 400cfm filter. especially if your exhasting straight outside.

Wow there's gotta be a cheaper option an ozone generator only cost between 100-175 bucks. And I've seen full bedrooms rocking a 3 1000 watt hps, with way more plants, one cap ozone generator and 0 smell.

Correction: room is 10x10x9

ozone is dangerous and not a guarantee.

even if the room is 10x10x9 i would still stay at an 8" to play it safe. 200$ for a filter and fan for a big grow room like that is definitely not unreasonable. but ehy do as you plesase. just be careful, GL

Well I really do appreciate the advice and as much as wish I could afford to put that in my room I simply cannot. It is not unreasonable I'm just a broke college student trying to make ends meet.
