Grow room advice

I was wondering if i just wanted to grow about 36 plants a year for personal use. Im fixing to move into my own place and was wondering what supplies i would need to produce 6 plants every 3 months. Would a 1000watt hps be enough for 6 plants? I would only have enough room to veg, then switch to hps. How big of a space would i need. Im looking more for quality than quantity. How much would my monthly electric bill cost?

1000 watts will do 6 plants... 6 plants every 3 months? ,well u gotta know your strains flower time lets say 8 weeks so u got a month to root clones about 2 weeks and 2 weeks of veg . if i was doing what u are id be harvesting 36 plants or more every 3 months ..in that amount of time there not gonna be huge ....and are u topping?

hang on i did some math 6 plants times 3 months is 4 harvest so i come up with 24 plants not 36 i maybe reading your post wrong sorry

Im just looking to have about a pound every 3 months. And im worried someone will know about my grow op. Will the electric company suspect me?
