Quick question, I am doing a little grow for myself.

I have 3 plants growing at the moment, and they are are about 3 weeks old.

They are blooming like bitches! They really have grown alot!

I have currently have 1x400w light about half a meter (50cm) away from the plants.

Should it be closer? (I dont want to burn them)

Should I put my other 400w light on them?

Any tips?
 
yeah the light is too far away. Yes, if you can get rid of the heat and get enough circulation I would say add the other light.

When you say blooming, you mean growing right?

*edit* you'll want to have the light around 8-12" away.

Put your hand over the tops of the plants and if it burns the lights are too close.
 
no problem. You considered starting a journal? You'll be able to keep a record of your grow and you'll get regulars stopping by to help you out whenever you come across a problem.
 
Dont you think Im a bit late into it 2 start a journal mate? :(

I was gonna test out some of my own methods on these 3 plants Ive got growing then maybe do a journal with a few more plants... 10 or so...

Its not really for anything else other than me to get high you see :D
 
No... you have yet to enter the most important stage... flowering. Even though you just want a little smoke. It'd still be good to get a bigger smoke.

Anyway, i'm not trying to push you into something you don't want to do. We're all free men.:peace: Anything you need, just ask me. :wink:

Will post pics 2moro of my current setup... Ill also be lowering the light before I take my pics! lol... Dont wanna look like a complete n00b ;) :D
 
Sweet. I'll look forward to them... every grow is a journey, and I enjoy it almost as much when it's somebody elses. That's why I've got so many posts. :mrgreen:
 
No sorry mate, I got one from a building site I worked on, the other I got off eBay about 2 years ago, been collecting dust, until now. I also got like 10 replacment bulbs :D

Sorry mate, eBay is quite cheap. Im also lucky enough to have a hydro shop just round the corner :D
