DAY 1:

Soaked 1 feminized Twista 108 seed and 2 feminized Power Africa seeds in distilled water and kept in the dark for 16 hours

Soaked rockwell cubes in quarter strength liquid karma and half strength KLN solution (PH: 6.7 TDS: 300PPM )

DAY 2:

Twista 108 and Power Africa seeds slightly cracked...placed all seeds in moist paper towel and put in plastic baggie

Returned 6 hours later and could see the taproot on the Twista 108 seed and one of the Power Africa seeds. Placed both in the rockwell cubes, covered with a piece of rockwell

<FML...trying to figure out what to do with my life. Baby on the way and I can't get along with my girl to save my life. We are driving eachother CRAZY. Too many girls in my life...one on the way and about to have more...hopefuly >

DAY 3:

No Change.

Second Power Africa seed still hasn't popped...not giving up hope on her yet.

Only turning on heating pad at night...temps in the grow room average about 81F durring the day and im scarred it might get too hot in the dome.

DAY 4:

The Power Africa seed I put in the rockwool was popping up when I checked this morning. The leaves were yellow...is this normal? (sorry the picture isn't the best quality)

The Twista 108 seed is still sitting under the rockwool. I didn't mention before, but this seed looked like it had a crack in it when I got it. Think that might be a problem even though I saw the start of the tap root?

On a side note, I also decided to germinate 2 regular New Purple Power seeds - using the paper towel method - in hopes of getting a male to sex. <Like I said I have too many girls in my life >

Any thoughts, questions, comments welcome ladies and gents....

DAY 4 (cont.):

All seeds I had in the paper towels have shown me a tap root. (they are from the single seed centre if anyone is wondering - props to them by the way) Twista seed is still not showing face though...starting to get a little sad

I read an article the other day about chicks being better at growing than guys...what do you think?

thinking of ordering the twista so ima subscribe and at least see how the veg goes

DAY 5:

Had to germinate my other feminized Twista 108 seed since ResinRaider started following. Like I said, the first seed I had was cracked when I got it. I pulled it out of the rockwool this morning and it doesn't look like it has done much since I put it in there.... Took the new seed from the fridge this morning and used the paper towel method. I will check later tonight to see whats going on. FYI, from the results I have seen, if the seeds are kept in the cold for a little bit...germination rates seem to go up.

Power Africa seed that broke surface seems to be opening up nicely. It still has the yellow color to it which seems to be normal. Hoping it will turn green soon

Also for all you kiddies in the US ordering seeds, my package was stuck in ISC NEW YORK NY(USPS) for over 15 days I was freaking out especially since they wanted me to go to the Post Office to pick it up when it finally got there...actually it was in my girls name, so I had to be sure nothing was wrong. I talked with some law enforcement and they said that if they were trying to bust me, they would do a controlled delivery to my house. If I had to pick it up they would never know what time to be there. Also, doing some research it seems that customs would only send a nasty letter for a few seeds and not get out the choppers like it was an international bust

I just wanted to comment and say GL on your grow. I'm excited to see someone else growing Power Africa because there is almost nothing out there on it.

I've got Power Africa on day 66 atm. As far as the seeds went, I had 1 not germinate and out of the 4 that did, one took almost 2 weeks to pop and 2/4 were males so I hope you have better luck than I did!

But my main reason for posting is this, I wanted to warn you about their height. I vegged for 28 days and put them into flower when they were 22-24 inches, they are now over 7 feet tall. I'll try to get you a picture if you wish but they are almost touching the ceiling of my 8 foot tall grow room.
