Well, my last batch is all done and now it's spring time in my garden -- it's time to start over again. Here's a photo of some of my harvest all jarred up, an old Ak-47 in the back right that I've had for damn near 10 years, as well as a few new genetics that will join the crew for the next go around -- I'll be kickin it old skool with some Greenhouse White Widow and Super Lemon Haze -- also a couple Sleestack X Skunk #1 -- and a Super Silver Haze X Critical.
018.jpgHere are a few bud shots of the batch I just finished. First up is CRITICAL -- she reaks of Coffee and armpits and tastes like Earth.022.jpg Ak-47 Smells and tastes like Fuel and Limes.025.jpgA Northern Lights Pheno -- Smells like melons and pepper--the taste is mostly pepper.027.jpg My other Northern Lights Pheno -- The Cheesy one -- Smells like cheese and damn sure tastes like cheese.030.jpgMz. Delahaze She smells like bubble gum and tastes like Haze.031.jpg
And last but certainly not least -- Flower Power -- she smells like artificial blueberry and funyuns.004 (2).jpg
Here's a pic of my cramped veg room before I clear it out -- Straight Trees :eyesmoke: hahaha010.jpg Here's Kerala Krush -- I just did some super-cropping and I'll probably re-pot her tonite--she's getting so damn leggy.005.jpgNorthern Lights with her neighbor Delahaze.006.jpg

Alright, the big mamas have been acclimating under the hps and now they're officially acclimated -- I took clones from all my new genetics as well as the the big ladies -- now it's go time for flowering. I used to be a die hard scrogger but I haven't scrogged my last 2-3 runs and I'm liking the results much better. My problem is that scrogs are too stationary and Unless you have a light mover, the center buds directly under the bulb, are always going to be of higher quality so I've nixed the scrog and now I just rotate my plants every day for even light distribution -- I love it -- I've had much better yields and the bud uniformity is great. The only downside to this method is controlling the big flopping buds -- Wire and String are my best friends during the last couple weeks of flowering now haha.005 (3).jpg 007 (2).jpg

I like the trim job on your buds...I like to leave a portion of the sugar leaves also...seams a waste of time to try and root out leaf stems on every bud considering the amount of trichomes involved...well done

Thanks man and Ya, I agree. I cringe when I see guys digging their scissors around inside a perfect bud, trying to clip a perfectly frosted sugar leaf. I like to keep everything as intact as I can.

Alright, a little slow with the pics but here is the room @ day 4 of flowering and as you can see, they've completely filled out two 4X4 spaces. Tops and tops and tops and tops and tops.........plus a few dozen more tops. :shock:018 (2).jpg and right next to it...............028 (2).jpg

Here we are at day 14. No Problems really..things have been going smooth, smooth, smooth. 2 -600 watt bulbs directly over 2 4x4 spaces. 6 strains living harmoniously beside each other. It's a beautiful thing. So let me just STFU and get to some garden shots. 021.jpg024.jpg 034.jpg 037.jpg 056.jpg 057.jpg 058.jpg 060.jpg 062.jpg 064.jpg

looks good. the thought of something tasting like blueberries and funyions sounds gross but it made me hungry regardless. are you screening them in with the pvc or is that just for when things really get out of hand?

And one of my all time favorites ......the one...... the only.................. "thai curler" AKA ak47 Clawing has always had such a bad rap; we forget about the natural clawers. You can grow this lady using any method with almost no nitrogen and she will still hoard it and curl like this immediately after the flip. She's beautiful.

It's a recycled scrog net that I use for the enclosure; I don't use the net anymore. But ya, the structure itself is great for stringin up big fatties.

I know right.....a little gangster lean is all that's necessary. Or my personal favorite -- when the whole damn pot falls over when they become so top heavy. :o

It's now "GROW TIME" for the little ladies in veg. I just did another topping session. They've been a little neglected but they'll be big and sassy in no time.

First is Super Lemon Haze.
I'm getting some funky smell off the leaves and stems, nothing too lemony at this point.
016 (2).jpg
Next is Sleestack X skunk. I'm really hoping this one is a female. She smells AMAZING -- like candy almost.
010 (2).jpg
Here is the other sleestack X skunk. It is showing quite a bit of lankiness compared to the other one which leads me to believe that it may be the male. At least I hope so because it doesn't smell nearly as good as the plant in the previous picture. That's not always a great indication of bud quality though, so we'll see.
011 (2).jpg
This is one of the 2 white widow seeds that I popped -- the better one IMO so far. The plant structure is great and the smell is so unique -- like flowers and fresh linen.
014 (2).jpg
Here is the other white widow plant. She has the exact same smell and the same tight nodal structure but she seems a little retarded. Don't get me wrong she's beautiful but her growth seems just a little bit off. I'm not quite sure what it is but I will flower both out and see which one I like the best.
015 (2).jpg
And finally critical X super silver haze. She is a pretty lady but nothing really stands out about her so far......I hope that changes once we hit flower.012 (2).jpg

Day 21---10/14 light cycle--the stretch is coming to an end and the ladies are stacking up nicely.
034.jpg 025.jpg
Here's Kerala X Skunk....... this girl wasn't playing.........she's almost 3 weeks younger than the other ladies and about a foot taller as of right now. She's very particular about her diet and like many sativas, she has a love-hate relationship with nitrogen. I can just picture finding this sativa scattered around southern India. I've never had a strain whose leaves and stems had such a strong odor -- she smells like straight grape fruit......can't wait to smell the flowers in full bloom.035.jpg

Welp, over in veg. my suspicions were proven correct as to who was the male and the female -- so I'm pretty stoked....the plant that I wanted to be female is indeed a female.
The male:
