Greetings! Seeing as I've read a few threads on a few semi-successful T5/T12 grow setups, I figured I'd try one of my own to see how it turns out.
As much as I am dying to use an HPS, I am wondering about the electricity with a 600w or 1000w and having to worry about heat and humidity. I would honestly like to try an all T5/T12 grow myself, seeing as I already have a T5 Sunblaze 48. My ideal setup would be using a two door cabinet of some kind, probably around 80"H x 35.50"W x 21"D at the largest. I planned on cutting a hole at the top for the T5 and running two T12 lights through holes cutout on the sides, with an all-white inside to maximize the amount of light hitting the plants (which are definitely going to need it without an HPS or MH). At which point, I could just install an exaust with a CO2 filter and an intake for heat/humidity, which I'm sure will still need it even without the super-hot HPS.
If anyone who HAS gone with a grow with all T5s or T12s, or even anyone with a decent opinion, I would like to know your thoughts on this kind of grow "room".
