So I after going over my grow cabinet plans I found out that I run into some problem. My first problem was obvious there was no way i was going to grow in a rubbermaid and use it as a veg and autoflowering cabinet. I also realised that I am going to be away for 5 days. And other things as well.
Flowering:
Cabinet: My cabinet is going to be 60" H x 36" W x 20" D
Ventilation: I am trying to figure out what fan would be good to use from this brand:
Soler & Palau Commercial Centrifugal, Axial, Propeller, Exhaust and Supply Fans - Soler and Palau - HVACQuick.com. I was thinking the TD-100X, with a DIY carbon filter. Do I need to get a speed controller? Passive intake will used. Less moving parts the better. Ossilating fan will be used to move stagnent air.
Medium: 2, 2 gal square pails double stacked, giving me about 4 gal pails, using hempy method 100% perlite. How much perlite do you think I will need to buy? I calculated that i can fit 6 of these in there and still have space, if I LST the plants. I was also thinking about making dwc buckets, buying one of these to store a res. But if I do that how would i deal with having plants that flower at different speeds.
Lights: I was initially go with 400W HPS with 200W of CFL lighting the lower bud sites. But I think I might just get a 600W, what do you think?
Seeds: 2 Alaskan Ice(Fem), 2 Barneys Blue Cheese (Fem), 1 Trainwreck (Fem), and 1 Hawaiian Snow (Fem)
Nutes: Grow BLoom, Grow Big, Big Bloom from fox farm
There is going to be a period of 5 days I have to leave the plant unattended. There is no way I want/can find someone to look after my plants. Can I leave a Hempy bucket un watered for 5 days.
If i do get a 600W should i get a stronger fan?

I will be using this cabinet from wallmart. With 3 computer fans. One for intake, outtake, and circulate air. I thinking to either do a two level cabinet. So i can have a mother, ver, clone room. Or just use one level for more height space. Initially the veg room will be used for auto flowering Diesel Ryder. If I just use one level I can try a full hydroponic system, but he other option only leaves me with hempy.
What do you guys think
