Grow Cab - 3-4 Plants

Hi there, i'm going to grow 3-4 plants in cabinet ( its like 0.50m depth , 1,25m height , 1m length ) and im going to use 1 or 2 12cm exhaust pc fan , and 2 normal 12 fans in it.

which lightning type use in that cabinet? I got heated greenhouse for germinating and tried it 2 times works great. but i failed after germinate

so i want to use my cabinet to grow 3-4 max. plants just need some ideas.

Stuff i got ;

heated greenhouse
panda and sylar film
2 exhaust pc fans ( 12cm )
2 normal pc fans ( 12cm )

I suggest using a 40 watt induction lamp or two (2700k) with supplemental 3 watt red LEDs. http://kweekotheek.nl/webwinkel/inductielampen.htmlMake sure you have LEDs that use 3 watt EACH, not a bunch of tiny ones using 3 watt in TOTAL. I would go with like nine of those 3 watt leds in total..maybe more, if you can afford it. To germinate, get a paper towel, fold it twice and place it between two small dishes. Make it wet, then hold the dish with the tissue sideways so all the extra water leaks out. Place your seeds on the paper towel and fold it over. Close it off with the second dish and place it in a warm (25C) place, like over a radiator or behind the fridge. Your seeds should sprout in 1-3 days. Plant them very carefully with tweezers in about 1 cm of very loose soil. Also, make sure your cabinet is lined with mylar for maximum reflectivity. Also, you should train and scrog like crazy to maximize your yield and quality in a small cabinet like that.

Alternatively, you can get a 150 or 250 watt hps, and stick it into a cooltube...this would be more expensive, produce more heat, is more difficult to set up, but may give better results...with this light, you can make a vertical setup to utilize more of your space (3 walls and some floorspace, as opposed to just the floorspace)

yeah i just covered my cabinet with panda sylar film and going to do these fans with small power supply and some silicones. i think it'll be ready till this weekend. and probably gonna buy some 150 or 250w hps or maybe some neon or fluorescent maybe cfl. i found this http://images.gittigidiyor.com/4853/4-x-55w-Neon-Dijital-Balastli-Set-19200-Lumen__48537679_0.jpg and i'll change neons step by step like 6500k at start 4000k at the middle and then 2700k at the flowering. I got plan like this but just got some more questions.

are they 4 fans enough to ventilation? and do i need more stuff? like i said i got some limited space to grow

but want to try it

I wouldnt get a 250w hps just cuz ur going to be dealing with alot of heat! I think 150w will do u well with some CFL's thrown in as well! 6500k for veg and swap out to 2700k for Flowering! Also u might wanna check in on some LED's they are expensive but they will do u good in a cab ur size! Im currently growing in a cab check it out in my Sig!

Yes and my last status is like that : going to buy that 4x55w neons and starting with 6500k and then 4000k and then 2700k. Checked the heats and its like 25-30C and gonna put 2 120cm in it and got 2 12cm for exhaust. So i think its gonna be enough for ventilation?

I'll upload some pictures asap.

Ideas?!

Is there any sense of buying 4000k bulbs? I thought they are useless for plants

Yeah , 4000k's for clones and its really expensive here so probably im just gonna go with 6500k with start and clones and 2700k for flowering. After this weekend probably i'll upload some photos

hey man,

dont mean on barging into ur post but just wanted to share that im doing the same thing as you. Im using a tall pc tower for veg box and a dresser for my flowering. The pc is up and running with a 75w HPS in a home made cooltube but the cab isnt finished yet, waiting on my 400w hps cooltube which is gonna go in the dresser.

my temps vary between 73-79 with 25-45% humidity in the pc box which is approx 2 feet tall and 1.5 feet wide. I used the stock fans that came with the tower and added my own pc fan to the cooltube. here are some of my pics let me know what you think i can also use some advice! hope this maybe helps!

wow really thanks donastro! yea you got the same dresser size like me and yea im keeping my 400w hps just in case and i got extra power supply for fans etc etc. Just novadays im really busy cause of job and cant even modify my dresser and im gonna get 4x55w neons from my friend and just gonna test each neons and hps and temps. I just need some time ( hopefully this weekend ) to modify

All parts ready and waiting for me! And your plant is awesome take care of it
