Grow box design, input appreciated

Alright, so this is my first indoor grow and I'm going all out, I'm planning on building an approximately 64"l x 30"w x 4'h stealth flowering grow box, with a separate 3'l x 28"w x ?h mother/veg/clone box. The plan for the flower box is to use a ~50 gal reservoir to support an ebb and flow (flood and drain) hydroponics system that contains 24 plants (about 8 square inches spacing each) in a scrog setup (to minimize height). My grow medium is rockwool slabs with rockwool cubes on top (4"); I've purchased a 400w MH lumatek ballast with an Adjust-a-Wing reflector (with the heat spreader) and a Sunmaster Warm Deluxe bulb (all of this expensive as shit), as well as General Hydroponics Florabloom and FloraMicro (in the "Lucas" nutrient cycle), as well as Diamond Nectar and Kool Bloom liquid (and FloraKleen for pre harvest). I'm using mylar on the inside of the box for light reflection, i've also bought ph up and down, ppm meters, soil test kits, clonex, etc.

My goal is to have the flower box with 24 plants on an 8 week cycle, with the cloning and 2 week veg period taken care of in the smaller box. This way I would be harvesting around 24 plants every two months, provided nothing goes too wrong.

The flower box will have an exhaust fan blowing out the top attached to a diy carbon filter (like the "ryoko builds diy carbon filter for 30$" model detailed online) with a hepa honeywell carbon filter attached to end (extra precaution?). I've bought a couple of cheaper fans to provide circulation. I plan on using a 2x2 " screen about 8 inches above the rockwool to keep my height as low as possible, however I am open to any suggestions beyond a Screen of green setup that could help me maximize my yield (highest possible yield in the space provided is the goal here).

The veg/mother/cloning box is designed to incorporate 3 mother plants for my 3 different strands (Chrystal, Papaya, and PPP from Nirvana. By the way if anyone is wondering, Nirvana is amazing I got my seeds a week after first ordering in the US, very discreet good price we'll have to see how the germination rate and product turns out). I plan on giving each mother plant about 10-14 square inches, leaving enough room for around 30 clones with 3-4 square inches of space each. I think I will use a passive irrigation system in this box, such as pouring in the nutrients and allowing them to sit and soak the growing medium. For this box I have a 27 watt Lights of America CFL floodlight that supposedly gives out 150 watts; I plan on putting the mother plants on the floor of this box, with the vegging clones on an adjustable shelf (to keep the level of light appropriate for the different stages). I will also have an exhaust fan/carbon filter system built into this box.
I'm starting the seeds I received around the first of August, hoping to begin flowering around the beginning of September; right now I am waiting for all of my lights and supplies to arrive, I also still need to buy the lumber and build the damn thing. I would really appreciate any input and suggestions that could help me maximize my yield and prevent me from screwing this up too badly. In particular, if anyone is knowledgable about this sort of setup I would love it if the following questions could be addressed:
ONE: All around does my intricate setup sound realistic/good? please help me out with the details haha like I said, this is my first indoor grow I have never supported a mother or taken clones before.
1. Is having 3 mothers in the said space too ambitious?
2. How much space do mother plants require?
3. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT- I do not currently have a tray idea in mind for the plants to live in; since this is a very specialized setup and I don't want to drop a ton of cash on one of those expensive trays, is it possible that I could build a comparable model with good nutrient flow/dynamics out of wood? Could caulking/adhesive be used that would waterproof this wooden tray from leaking, and would these adhesives add any chemicals harmful to the plants?
4. Any advice on the Diamond Nectar and Kool Bloom liquid would be appreciated, I heard they were worth buying but know nothing about them myself.
5. Haha basically any advice on the various components of the system would be appreciated, has anyone used a similar adjust a wing reflector? how much space should I leave between it and the plants? Anything worth knowing about the ballast?

I would really appreciate any suggestions of any kind from experienced growers, thank you very much.

you should check out those rubbermaid tub hydro setups. You can make all sorts of hydro systems from scratch easily. :joint:

DId you decide to go with the adjust a wing?? How do you like it? How high do you keep it above your plants?

Tyrann - i've read thru some posts and i see you use the adjust a wing w/ a 600w HPS... do you scrog or ??

just trying to plan really well because height is a huge issue for me..
