Grow Bags - Who's using them? + Do they have enough drainage?

i love mine...yeah they drain real well, sometimes to well...i find myself packing the soil down before i water em or the water jus pisses out the holes...thye took a lil getting used to but there worth while

Are yours the all black plastic ones or black and white? And how many holes in the bottom, eight?
Reason for the question is that it seams like the black pots have much more draining but you have to clean them after every use. You can recycle the old bags and start clean with new bags, which seems like a no brainer.
If you have a link to the bags you use can you pls share?

i got black mondi pots....they have 1/2 drain holes from the bottom up to half way up the bag basicly

OK... thats what I have seen in the shop. And you say drainage is sometimes too much right? OK... what medium are you filling them with? Is it soil?
Do your roots end up growing out the bag at some point, like peoples pots?
And are you tossing them when your done?

I use Pro Mix in em now, bu ti did use coco in em...any medium works well in em....yeah a few times the roots tickle there way out one of the bottom holes, but its not bad, jus can see a lil white around the hole sometimes, no diff thana pot will do. And yeah i jus pitch em after im done...cleanup is fast to. I think i payed like 10 bux for a 100 1 gal , there pretty cheap and they come in mad sizes now. And yeah yul see what i mean about the drainage, if the soil is dry youl have to tamp it down so the water dont leak out the sides....takes a few waterings to get it good
no probs, i had the same questions when i got mine but i had to figure it out for myself lol

Good looking Dizzle.... I like the concept of tossing the bags when the grows over.... keep everything clean in the root zone!!! happy trails dude
