Grodan's Macro Plugs have a smaller diameter than the hole in 4 and 6 inch Hugo rockwool blocks. Too much void space : (

I assumed the Grodan Macro Plugs were designed to drop into the hole in the top of my six inch Grodan Hugo block of rockwool. I should have checked the fit before I germinated my seeds in Macro Plugs. I know the plant looks strange - it is a co-joined mutant.

Can you flip it upside down and cut your own hole?

Just push the rockwool in around the plug..
