so i wana do an outdoor grow this summer and was wondering if buying a greenhouse would be a good idea... does it block alot of sunlight or is it beneficial? would i be better off just leaving them outside as normal?

In the summer it is just best to leave them outside.

When the cooler temperatures come then a greenhouse really becomes useful.

you could put plants that where started indoors in a greenhouse way before other growers put them in the ground,,, pro like 3 weeks earlier.... so its a good thing

greenhouses are a great way to get an early start. if you use good plastic (meant for greenhouses) there won' be any problems as far light being blocked out. You have to consider the effort you must put in with a green house due to the fact that they easily overheat and must be vented and observed carefully throughout the day meaning more work for you. I myself have a 50 foot greenhouse which i love to grow many things in but it does take much more time and work to keep up with one. you cannot depend on rain for water and you have to be able to control the temp both when it gets too hot and too cold. If you can and don't mind the extra work it is well worth it although I don't know if your results will differ in the end.
