Grandaddy Purple has purple on the fan leaves and stalk

I got g.d.p. seeds from a local co op and i have started to see purple on the stem of the fan leaf's and the stalk (photo)

The soil ph is 6.9 and i have been using a 15-20-20 plant food from a local shop every thing seems to be growing fine but the purple on the stalk and fan leaves have me asking questions?

any thoughts

some one that i know is growing a bb x atm, and she kept thinking that the purple in the stalk was from a deficiency, but it's really just the genetics coming through, same as what's happening on your girls, congrats... :)

Purple on plants can appear due to a number of things: It could simply be genetics, also stressed plants can cause purpling, abnormally low temps can also cause purpling. Also a mixture of these things, it's more prominent in some strains rather than others.

I got some purple strains rollin now..i cna show you they all have dark red/ppurple stocks and fan stems are dark purple/blue lol

if you grow a purple/blue strain you can count on having colored stocks/stems...its not a deficiency :)

connoiseur genetics suppose have S1 beans,other then them don't think theirs other gdp seeds around..
