Hey Willie, if the greenback is "worthless" as you erroneously claim, why are the Chinese buying them up in record numbers? They are huge buyers of US Treasury bonds, notes and bills...these are dollar denominated....

They are buying up more gold and silver at the same time. Not an erroneous claim. why did the treasury dept. stop issuing the monthly "q" report on the total amount of dollars in circulation. Every paper currency in history has been printed to death. The US dolllar is waiting its turn.

Sorry, Willie, your claim of "worthlessness” is, indeed, totally bogus!

That is my point.... the amount of gold and silver purchased are far smaller and entirely irrelevant to your fallacious claim!
The amount of dollars in circulation is a separate and troubling issue on which I agree.
Nice try...good post!

Why stop the "Q" reprot? Why oust the world bank president and put GW's boy in? Not worthless yet, but on the way down my friend.

I don't know about the value of the dollar, probably aint worth crap, but China is basically buying America. What do you think backs our worthless treasury bonds? Property of course, as that is all the US govt. has to offer. By now, they probably own Yellowstone and Yosemite, and half the other national parks and wilderness areas. When you start seeing the yellow man at the gates of them, speaking chinese, you'll understand how our government has sold us out.

Med the government has been selling the country out to China (and other countries) to pay for this war.

So far the Tax Burden for every (legal) man woman and child in the United States is $38,000 (as of 2005) and as long as this war continues, it will keep going up.

This is the first time in History that a president or ruler in any country has ran a war and not raised Taxes. Also this is the first time that The United States has Ever went to war and the country wasn't asked to make sacrefices.

What I do not like is that the Conservitives have gotten the Idea of Unfettered majority rule.
Yet in the same breath, when you step on their toes and and over rule them or tell them that what they are doing is against the law, they are the ones who scream the loudest and then question your patriotism.

“You're not supposed to be so blind with patriotism that you can't face reality. Wrong is wrong, no matter who says it.” -- Malcolm X

“Patriotism is the willingness to kill and be killed for trivial reasons.” -- Bertrand Russell

“The highest patriotism is not a blind acceptance of official policy, but a love of one's country deep enough to call her to a higher plain” -- George McGovern

“Heroism on command, senseless violence, and all the loathsome nonsense that goes by the name of patriotism -how passionately I hate them!” --Albert Einstein

Communism works really well if you don't let the Miltary run it, Because if the Miltary runs it the country will always be in a war to make money to support everyone and sometimes the people don't want a war or fight they just want to live, thats why Russia fell and other Communist country.:peace:
Sorry, Token, but Communism doesn't work well at all except at the level of hunter-gatherer tribes and clans.

"Dissent is the Highest form of Patriotism" -- Howard Zinn
I surely agree with all you've posted, good job. I don't know the answer. I can't see one man (President) having that much influence on the military-industrial complex, and the congress is bought and paid for. Even if Gravel or Ron Paul got in, I doubt they would be that effective, the rest are more of the same, Maybe kucinich, but he's a real long shot. I see the feudal system in the future, with a heavy emphasis on police state.

You may be right Med.
But I don't see why the people don't get the balls to press their representative on what they are doing for their constituents and why they are kowtowing to the Corporations.... Point Blank tell them that they are not fooling anyone.

It's High time that the people put them on notice, work for us, or take the next bus home.

Exactly what I told my guys, John Ensign, Harry Reid and Shelly Berkley. Got back form letters full of BS. As much as I'd hate to see the senior senator Reid lose his powerful place in the senate, his votes on the war and amnesty will not allow me to vote for him again. I told him this. Berkley is allright, except she voted for amnesty so she's out, she did vote against the war though, and of course Ensign is a Bush-o-can. I'd like to see a clean slate come '08'.

Representative Republic, not a Democracy there Matias, try again. Liberals and Communist all have it wrong, they can\'t accept it, but history proves it. History is Quite a Concept too.First and foremost Liberalism is not a political standpoint, it\'s an economic one. I find it odd that republicans call democrats \'\'liberals\'\' when they are so obsessed with liberty themselves ( I can get deep into the philosophical subject of liberty too, for what liberty is there when the people have no means of expressing it, liberty is worth nothing if you are unabe to survive.)... quite an issue of terms construction. \'\'evil\'\' / \'\'sucking the life out of everyone of us\'\'/ \'\'have it all wrong\'\'/ Those sound like dogmatic phrases to me.... boooooo, scary communism with it\'s sharp pointy theeth, it\'s going to kill us all.. if you actually read some Marx or Engels, Indie , you would understand (as I stated in my first post) that communism as a concept has little if nothing to do in with the experience of the soviet union (a fascist dictatorship), if I think that it is actually a theory that can be applied is besides the point... Democracy has also little to do with the revolutionnary concept of communism... democracy can be conceived in a representative governement,,,What is wrong with a State that takes into account each individual as an undivisible part of the whole, why let others run your own affairs.. I see nothing wrong with a concept that has equality of rights and representation as a pillar of its theory.. In a practice a Representative republic is a form of democracy (USSR is not) demos= power, cratein=people... its as simple as that. (democracy in america by Tocqueville, great book, written in the 18th century)... You are right history IS quite a concept , and democracy is something our civilisation has strived too achieve since ancient GREECE.When was I ever defending communism ? Don\'t take wrong im just trying to clear up some evident confusion of terms here--------------------------------------------------------------------------Quick definitions (liberal)noun: a person who favors a political philosophy of progress and reform and the protection of civil liberties noun: a person who favors an economic theory of laissez-faire and self-regulating markets adjective: having political or social views favoring reform and progress adjective: tolerant of change; not bound by authoritarianism, orthodoxy, or tradition adjective: showing or characterized by broad-mindedness---------------------------------------------------------------------------Just Wanting to clear up the record.
