First off I ordered this 2 days ago and it's already here through Canada Post. Glad to see they are back to Canada post. I wasn't home to sign for my previous order and the Purolator location was very much out of the way for me. So I'm glad that if I'm not home to sign it's just going to end up at the Canada post office right down the street from me.

I won't have a chance to test it out as I'm heading to work right now.

I will say that I had the chance to do a side by side comparison of Tweed vs. Dispensary bud. From my last order. I had some Jack Herer vs.Birds Eye (Tweeds Jack Herer) I still have some of each and if you'd like me to do a side by side picture and a review I'm happy to.

So far I'm happy with the bud from the LP. And i will continue to order as most of the dispensaries I purchased from have been shut down. So the governments plan to shut down dispensaries to force us to buy from LPs worked, at least on me.

I can say that their is no replacing going into a dispensary, seeing it for yourself and getting to cherry pick some nice fats buds and speaking face to face with a budtender is also something that I think is a huge advantage of going into a local dispensary. So although I'm happy with the LP bud, I really hope that in the future I'll be able to buy my medicine face to face with someone that has some hands on experience.This way I can get the best advice from someone I can get to know and can get to know me and my needs.

A few summers ago I grew my own medicine, with just water, miracle grow and sun, outdoors, in a pot that I could move around. I had no previous experience and i'm pretty terrible when it come to having a green thumb. However I can say that I miss that experience and the pride that comes from growing your own medicine. I can say that's it's the best bud I've ever smoked and I plan to grow again in the new year.

I am considering applying to grow through HC. I'm not afraid of having to register and being a HC statistic.

I'm not paranoid and I have nothing to hide, I follow the rules as best as I can. I'm not willing to fight the man on this one. I believe that piece of mind will help with the experience and knowing that I'm doing things legally will allow me to do things the right way. Most importantly it will allow me to sleep at night without the threat of law enforcement.

That's my story and i'm sticking to it.

I don't get the point of this post. Is getting an LP order so rare it's needs to be news? I realize not everyone can grow, but buying over-priced LP weed sight unseen and waiting for delivery should be your last choice. Get a DG if you are not good at growing or buy from buddy on the corner.

Not going to chastise you for buying LP weed, that's a personal choice in your specific situation. You do what's best for you

Would be interested in your opinion between the dispensary and LP weed when you get a chance, with pics or it never happened - lol

I haven't had a chance to take pics yet. You know, with work, a wife and 2 kids to take care of, posting pics is not necessarily a priority.

I will get around to it though.

And I have much better looking bud than my LP bud. To be honest it's not very pleasing to the eye.

So if I wanted to fake it I could. However in the interest of contributing to a community that provides a great resource for others, I see no benefit in not providing and honest comparison.

I can say without a doubt that my dispensary bud is MUCH better looking.

Based on appearance alone, I'd 10 times out of 10 choose the dispensary bud I have.

Later on tonight, when my kids go to bed and I can dedicate some time to it, I'll snap some side by side pics. No fancy filters or creative lighting, just an honest comparison.

And do me favour keep the personal attacks to a minimum, you know very little about me. Just because I buy LP bud or invest in LP stocks doesnt define me as a person. Trying to be a cyber bully on a cannabis message forum doesn't exactly help the cause that you are fighting for.

If you don't like lps, that's fine, I can respect your opinions. If you've been screwed by the man, if your favorite dispensary was shut down. I feel for you.
I happen to like dispensaries. I wish mine weren't shut down either, I liked my budtenders.

However I do have chronic pain and buying BM bud is not an option. Not all cannabis is created equal and buying random bud is not really an option for me. Its like going to shoppers with a headache and buying pepto bismol because that's all they had.

I will give growing another shot in the new year. Unfortunately, I can't grow indoors. With 2 little kids running around I barely have any room for all the stuff that comes with kids and parenting.

I'll be doing quite a bit of reading over the winter and I'm going to try and register to grow my own. Just haven't gotten around to reading about the process yet.

And yes I know that investing with LPs is 'profiting' from the sick, but pharmaceutical companies are a huge part of the market. And not exposing myself to that segment would be silly when as an investor I know it's a growing segment. I just happen to invest in cgc, mt, aph, sl and a few other companies that are bound to explode once the receipt market opens up. Sure I can invest in tech or financials which I also do. Just keep in mind that investing in tech is investing in companies that provide a free service in exchange for your personal information, most of the time without your knowledge. ie facebook or apple even Google collects your information in order to sell advertising.

Your ROI on tech has probably produced more already than any LP stock ever will. If you're really in for the long haul, why play with pennies when you can play with Billion $ market caps tech Co's?

I bought FB @ $20ish in 2012....its only up 400% since then. You'll never see that kind of action from an MMJ, or even Rec MJ companies in Canada in a couple of years. The Canadian MJ market is far too small...with far too many public players for sustainable growth. Not too mention, making money off sick folks is just bad JUJU!

SL, I bought for .22 it's now at almost a dollar. In less than a year. Also keep in mind what cgc has done in the last year. 70 to 90% return in a year is nothing to scoff at.

Anyhow. Just keep in mind that most publicly listed companies didn't get there by turning away profits. They are all greedy it's up to us to decide which greed we are willing to gamble on.

If you acknowledge that you are profiting from the sick and are comfortable advertising that on this forum, you need to expect blowback from sick people. The LP's have lobbied hard to restrict our right to a plant and gouge patients, and continue to do so, so every dollar invested in them is a personal attack on the sick. There are many on this forum who can not afford LP weed even if they wanted to go that route, much less have money to invest. The LP's are looking outside of the country for opportunities to keep them afloat because they know they're in trouble, so I'd be concerned about investing until the legalization rules are clear...Gamble away, but know most of us are hoping you lose as the LP's cannibalize each other on the race to the bottom.

I understand that point of view. And I acknowledge that not everyone can afford some of the things that I've been blessed to have the opportunity to earn.

Please keep in mind that I to suffer from chronic pain from years of abuse that I put my body through in order to now afford these things.

You can say that egg farmers are being starved out of business by large grocery chains that continue to low ball what they are willing to pay for their products. So I should not buy eggs from my supermarket, because in order for me to have eggs for breakfast I have to buy from a business the is relentlessly cutting costs and choking out the small family run farms?
