5th week of flower, throwing red or orange pistels. Supposed to really swell up the last 2 weeks of flower. Hope it true

Not the easiest plant to grow. I took over this plant. Technically im still flowering my first seed.

I don't get how some leaves have completely died and shriveled up but the plant looks healthy. How is it some leaves are crisped while others still thriving with new signs of life. I swear I cant over feed this plant. Or os that what im doing? Over feeding it. Soil is unknown, plant picked up from a random craigslist ad. I use botanicare nutes. I added about 3 inches of ocean forest to fill up the pot when I got it.
