ok,,I always grew in soil that burnt my plants but still grew them,,I'm trying Pro-Mix for the first time,,it's soiless,,,,I didn't read the label till they were 7 days old,,when they were suffering,,it said start nutes @ 7 days,,I thought they were root-bound or overwatered,,so I gave them a third strength nutes,,they looked better,,then I watered 3 days later,,and they looked ok,,,now they are getting bad looking again at about 16 days,,is it just because I should be feeding them ,,or what,,all help on a soiless medium would be helpful,,I picked up 3 more helpers,,Humic Acid,Fulvic Acid,,and Mother Earth Super Tea,,to go along with regular A and B nutes for veg,,Veg Fortifier,,and Piranah Benefical Fungi,,,,is feeding them @ 16 days gonna help,,or kill em,,pics are of day 7,,10 ,,14 and 16 days

ok,,would that be burnt from the light,,because the one third nutes was what made them look good,,the 430 is 16 inches away,,the temps are 70 -75 most of the time,,humidity is low a bit,,30 %,,actually, three of nine show heat stress(cupped leaves)6 look ,,well,,like the pics,,and these are not those three that are stressed,if 6 look semi-okay,,I don't wanna move the light for 3,,I'd suffer the loss,,so do I feed,,move the light,,or am I missing something,,thxs in advance:hump:

If in doubt, flush it out FIRST. 90% of the time this will cure the problem. VV
they started drooping at 6-7 days old,,and had not yet been fed(pro mix label says start feeding at 7 days),,leaves had some dots on them,,here is pics of right now,,they have some discoloration to them,,they were just flushed like 2 days ago,,and I only gave them 1/3rd strength nutes prior to the flush,,my temps are totally controllable but I do have them under a 430 watt hps,,I raised the light a bit yesterday,,it was 16 inches,,now 22 inches,,any other ideas VV would be greatly appreciated

Are you misting these plants? The spots look like maybe a foliar feed or insecticide drying to me. We need someone that can see color better than I can. If the spots go thru the leaves, when viewed with a 30x magnifier, I would suspect spider mites, you would be able to see them with that magnification as well. I'll go look at your journal, I thought you were going to go hydro? Guess I've been out of touch.
The light would not be the problem at that height and if the temps are staying in range that eliminates that. The rh should be higher but you can compensate for that by misting heavily. I have had some plants that just didn't make it, those two ice plants were 8 weeks in flowering, never found out why. I would not sacrifice the light to the other six plants to try and save these three. A 400 watt over 9 plants should be a foot above and closer if its air cooled otherwise you are wasting a lot of light. Might be better to seperate the three to a floro if you have one available, let them slow grow for a day or two, see how the flushing worked or didn't. If they made it ten days past the first problem ...?? VV

thxs VV,,they have not been foliar fed yet,,but the single fan leafs that came out were burnt due to spillage when watering,,I'm a little scared to foliar feed,,cuz there under 24 hour light,,should I be pulling them out to do so for a bit,,I looked them over with a microscope and do not see any types of bugs anywhere,,,as for goin hydro,,maybe when my hunny and I get our house I may try that out,,but for now I'm stikking to soil,,or soiless mix,,I can definitely control the temps,,so you think I should drop that thing down and go for it,,I am more than willing to do so,,I have many seeds to try out,,and I am not scared to lose a plant or 9 at all,,in the beginning I just wanted to try growing,,now I know i will never stop,,yes,,I'm hooked,,110%,,I can separate the three heat stricken ones to a cfl cab I have but would prolly just leave em in,,only the strong survive:hump:,,,I just fully fed them last night as they were getting dry,,they got A and B grow nutes,,plus Mother Earth Tea,,Fulvic and Humic Acid,,Veg Fortifier and Beneficial Fungi,,here are a couple of them today,,which by the way is day 20,,lol,,I dunno how I lost track,,prolly from not posting everyday and smokin my last grow:mrgreen:,,again thxs for your support VV,,and if anyone else has an opinion I am totally open to hear what you have to say,,

hey man i have the same problem mine is worst tho. i think it might be the spraying. try not to call me too stupid but i needed a spray bottle and i was too lazy to go to the store so i rinsed out a shower cleaner bottle what i thought was real good. sprayed it on a few of the plants and now its looking very bad. so if you are spraying check that out because thats exactly what my plants are going through...
