Got a 6x4-1/2ftx4ft closet space how to maximize use for soil grow

I have this space which I have used in the past and have mylar film covering the walls it is it is alil over 6ft tall 4-1/2ft long and 4 ft wide.

What I am trying to figure out is what would be the best way to make use of that space for a medi ihave done 2 plants in there before

? how many plants should I do in that space I am trying to make it worth while like say if I purchased a real light like hps I would wanna make sure it will pay for itself along with electric im basicly hoping that I can some how grow enough bud to be able to pay for the light cost and electric and supply me for a month. I have used cfl and and a t12 floro fixture in the past an hae been able to pull off 1 zip each plant under 425w using old reused miracle grow soil.

I wouldent doubt If I could get allot more back in profit if I redid some steps. my plan was to try a cheese and a headband.

I have fox farm soil/soilless blend all made up and I have a a couple 5 gallon buckets and a 7 gallon plastic plant pot like I said I currently have t12 floro lights along with big 65w cfls in homemade socket fixtures.

I have thought about getting real lights like hps but only if it is gonna pay for it self. plus I don't know where the best place to get good lights cheap are located.

I also wanna make sure that I can get the most potency out of the weed so any other advice as far as nutes etc when will I need em??

Im willing to invest in whatever is needed to get this project going as long as the gains are worth it.

In my first indoor grow with a 400w HPS in a 2x4x5' tent, I got a half pound dried. Between my edibles and my girlfriends smoking, we go through an ounce a month. Totally paid for itself. Since then, I've done a bunch of other grows. I am most definitely not out-of-pocket anymore.

You'll need nutes 3-4 weeks in typically, depending on your medium. I use a very cheap two part nutes (two parts for veg, then two parts for flower). Very simple.

As far as lights, I bought mine on eBay with a cooltube for $180. I think it was from Gotham Hydro, but I don't remember.

In a small closet, you'll definitely want a good fan (440 CFM is common, and can be used with a variable switch) as well as probably a carbon filter. Both these two items were $150 combined.

Get yourself a pH tester as well, if you don't already have one.

With a 600w lamp with air-cooled hood, you can put five large plants in, or up to 50 or so small ones (in 2L Coke bottles) going from rooted clone directly to flower.

Look into Scrog (screen of green), IMO best way to take advantage of small area.

well im hoping to be able to use a box fan I hae in the space and be able to cool my area whatever light I get enough the cheaper ones seemd to have a winged reflector . I don't know what benefits or advantages the cool tube ones have but I wanna get the most bang for my buck so im thinking 400w hps

yes so if I go with scrog and do 2 plants and use say a 400w hps maybe some side lighting I could end up with a half of p?.

I have 2 plants from seed a big buddah cheese and a 707/headband the cheese is indica I know for sure so will the scrog method still work on cheese?

Basicly I just have to vegg then like a week before switching to flowering cut the top off then add the screen?

from what I can tell you cut the top off then wait till the side branches catch up and become mostly level then use the screen and flower them.

Or do I wanna top then let side branches catch up level then super crop those branches then add the screen ?? what is the best way.

The most ive ever gotten off one plant is 1oz each I wanna surpass that

ok never mind this post I realize that realistically no one gets a 1 pound plants or even half pound plants everytime no matter what style they use how much nutes or how long. I have come to realize that you have to prepare for the worst and hope for the best.
