I am unble to find any adequate pH testers in my town. I was just curious what good ph testers/meters were on the internet? Any recomendations? I am just about to start my first aerogarden grow and want to do everything perfect.
Not knowing where you live I can only ask if you have a local hydroponics store? They usually have an assortment of pH testing equipment and adjustment kits. There's a starter kit that comes with a bottle of acid, a bottle of base, a test vial, a bottle of test solution and a color coded chart with instructions. If you had or have a pool or hot tub the process is the same. You take a sample of your water or nutrient mix, put in the required number of drops of test fluid and compare the resulting color to the chart. You have a suggested range of 5.5 to 5.9 and you add base or acid as required. I've found this method to be slower and more complicated than using an electronic tester. You might want to look at
