Good or Bad?Veg at my House,Flower at Friends

My friend and I are considering using the grow room in my house for vegging, and the grow room in his house for flowering.
Both my good friend and I have been building grow rooms. Mine has a lot of square footage, but its in the attic and the ceiling is really short, 5' on average, and I may have a little difficulty controlling the heat. My friend has a little less space, but his ceilings are 9ft and he is in a basement, so the temperature is naturally cooler and a little more consistent.
We were going to do separate grows, but then we thought it might be a good idea if I took care of all the mothers, clones and the vegging. That way my lower ceiling wouldn't be a problem and I would generate less heat because I would be using cfl's.
He then could do all the flowering since he has the vertical space to grow trees and he would be able to control the heat put off by HPS lights.
We would both be maximizing the potential of our spaces.
A pro would be that we would save money by specializing in only one aspect of the grow instead of having to buy supplies to both veg and flower.
A con would be having to transport the plants, that might be a little tense. We live around 2 miles apart so its not that far, but he has neighbors that are nosy.
Another con would be exposing the plants to possible infection from mold spores or any other air born pathogens while transporting.
Can anyone think of some pro's and con's I might be leaving out? Anyone have any advice? Or better yet anyone else try this that can share their results?
We live in CA, and have our medical permits, so this is all as legal as it can be.
Thanks in advance.

Azgrow, what do you mean by goals?
I could see us potentially disagreeing on methods and I tend to have a difficult time trusting other people to do a good job. For example, I wouldn't have full confidence that someone else would ph the water or let the water sit so the chlorine would evaporate.
I guess I am being optimistic thinking it would work.
Anyone have success growing this way?

I would personally keep it all at home, Id rather have the flowering room at my house if it was my choice! Is this a temporary solution until something bigger and better? Give it a whirl if you have to but expect anything to happen. Keep the flowering room at your house.
