Good or bad to mist the plants with nutrients?

Hi all.

Today I gave my 4 weeks old plants their first dose of nutrients. I used 1/5 of the recommended strenght in my water, and then I misted my darlings with it. They seem very OK and growing like hell.

What is your opinion on this? Is it good or bad to mist the plants with a splash of nutrients?

Some nutrient additives are designed to be used as a foliage spray, some are not. Do not be surprised if the N in your mist, burns your leaves. It's not real burning per se, it's the N drying out all the moisture where it sits. There is another small issue of clogging the stomata and thusly hampering transpiration, and you know that can't be good.
