hey guys, so ive been growing 15 plants at time, with 2 1ks and in a 5.5x6ish space, topping each time.

i was wondering if it would be a good idea to train and mainline them after i top?

thanks

it all depends on your time when you mainline top or anything with plants that usually takes a week or so recovery time to get him vegin again. if time is not a concern then sure top or main line but if you're doing perpetuas I would not main line unless you can have a couple different rooms

thanks, i usually top my plants once every grow.

i was thinking instead of
15 topped once plants and not lst'd at all
vs
15 topped plants and lstd and topped one more time

would give me alot better yields? even if it adds 1-2 weeks of veg

Main lining works great and makes some strong stems but it takes about twice the veg time. I like a faster turn around time. I think topping and lst like tieing down the stems works better and faster with kess stress on the plant.

The only thing I did differently was not waiting so long to cut the stalk, since I was using intense LED from the start it made them very thick, so waiting would have givven me a hollow straw of a main stalk. I cut the main as soon as growth was coming out of the first 2 nodes, let them grow out to the next node, then top again, light intensity from the beginning keeps them geometrical, keep those nodes close
