Going to grow in wardrobe (Hot location) - LED lights - First Plant - Suggestion needed

For 3 plants (in a wardrobe) what LED light should i buy

Hello Guys I am Very New to forum and growing...but been smoking over 12years and now decided to grow a plant.


I read some basics and i decided to grow in wardrobe :)

I am going to purchase something like this. I have no idea to buy a grow tent since i am concern about stealth and i don't have clue to import such a big thing..So i am going to grow my plants something like this.

If you have any idea (not growing tent) for growing feel free to tell me.

I am going to grow Auto flowering plants
auto-speed-bud-feminised-seeds from seedsman (highest 80cm max)

My problem is "

Country temperature is around 29C - 30 ( I am an asian) . So i am not sure about room temperate and wardrobe temp ... I am unable to put a A/C but in night i may can arrange (as we are sleeping on a AC)

I am confusing with LED lights.. i am on budget and maximum i can spend around $250 for lights..lower the better... So far i am looking

these brands :

Viparspectra Reflector Series 300W LED Grow Light - Under $100

Viparspectra PAR450 Dimmable LED Grow Light - Under $200

How many plants can i with these lights in wardrobe (wardrobe hight may around 4ft )

Can you guide me...as you guys see my English sucks :( sorry about it.... treat me as a fella stoner...i appreciate it.

PS : For temp i ordered some 4inch PC fans will that be ok ?
 
You have to make sure that it doesn't let any light in when you have the lights off...as far as everything else I can't really help you cause im new to this as well... also you need to line the walls with something that reflects light inside the wardrobe...good luck with your project... I'm sure you will be able to make it work!!!
 
He said he's growing autos, complete darkness is not necessary. Why he chooses a wardrobe cabinet over a grow tent is beyond me.

TOday i purchased horticulture-lighting-group-260-watt-xl-quantum-board-led-kit

I hope it's a wise idea. Currently i am planning on 2x4 so i guess 260w is enough as they suggest.
 
If you're spending money on lighting,why not buy a tent? for the size you want they're not that expensive...and you don't want your whole house smelling like weed!!! A tent holds the scent in pretty good...
 
29 -30C (84-86F) is going to be a problem. You need that room temp down a bit, you can expect your tent to be a bit higher regardless of fans.. You cant expect it to be any cooler than it is outside of the tent.

This is something i am really about to worry. Will be fine with some fans ? Do i have to turn on A/C entire day which is not practical at all.

PS : my room temp 27 - 28C :(

Yes i know. But importing tent is paranoid for me (for extra security you know :( )

Yes it's true.

What do you suggest for nutes ? Do i really need them then i will have to order them too. I am thinking to go with soil. Won't normal local store compost soil won't work ?

Appreciate if you can give me some right direction to go :)

I would recomend not growing if your that worried about having a tent shipped the smell is much more of a concern you will most likely need to have stuff shipped at some point unless you have access to a carbon filter and 4" exhaust fan. Why so nervous about shipping? Is it strange to get a box in the mail where you from?

Excellent question!!! I was wondering the same thing...but apparently he's already got the stuff ordered so he must not be too worried about it...

I already ordered basic stuffs like lights , PH meters blah blah except carbon filter and nutritions/soil.

I am really worrying not sure why. Cause that's where i am going to grow.(same address) so i am worrying. After doing lot of things i got my auto seeds and lights. But can't access to it anymore. Yes i think it's fine to order nutes and carbon filter as many people use these for different things. Am i right :D )


Today i am going to order nutrition. I am thinking to go with soilless like coco + nutes

Seems i am going to spend a lot $$$ which is kinda expensive for me.


I am going to buy 50L cyco coco pearl (coco coir)

General Hydroponics pH Control Kit by General Hydroponics - (how long can i use this pack ? I am kinda new to this.Guess it's enough for 4 plants 4months :)

General Hydroponics Flora Grow, Bloom, Micro Combo Fertilizer set, - Hope i can use this for 1 session.

All of them going to cost $250 with shipping.

My target is 3 plants and least 200grams to cover up all my expense and time. ( 2 - 2.5 ounce least per plant)

Hope i can easily done it.


Also i am thinking to grow with my very cheap local store compost as well. If it works then next time i can cut all shiny nutrition cost :) .
 
How are you going to make up for the money you spent? Sounds like you're going to be selling some of that stuff.. maybe that's what is making you nervous...be careful dude, the laws are worse than americas when it comes to drugs!!! If that is even possible to believe!!! You are on your way to becoming an outlaw!!! Welcome to the club!!!

LOL no..if you are read my previous threads you will understand. I am smoking over 15years and i spend $800 - 900 per month for 60 - 70grams.So inow i am spending time and money and growing and i want to cut that. LOL no sells as it;s very strict and it;s not suit for me (to my family)
 
Okay!!! I'm just trying to look out for you... trust me,I'm speaking from experience,you do NOT want to go to jail!!! I guess if you're spending that much money it's time to grow your own...lets make it happen!!!
