Going from a PPM meter to a HM com-100 ec/tds/temp and dont know..

I have no idea what I am doing? There are like six different settings for it. Can someone please explain to me some? I am having a hard time converting the idea in my head. I have heard all about the ppm numbers you want, but with the COM-100 it has these functions....


Measures electrical conductivity (EC), total dissolved solids (TDS) and temperature.
Three different calibration options (KCl, 442TM, NaCl), each with its own non-linear conversion factor.
Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC) using three temperature coefficients
Waterproof housing (IP-67 rating)
Measurement Range: 0-9990 µS; 0-8560 ppm (auto-ranging).
Digital Calibration (push button)
Auto-off function, data-hold function and low-battery indicator.
Display: large and easy-to-read LCD screen includes simultaneous temperature reading.
Factory Calibrated: The COM-100 meter is calibrated with a 1413 µS solution. The meter can be recalibrated with digital calibration using the push buttons, rather than a screwdriver.




So with the KCl, 442TM, NaCl shit and the fact that I can scroll through those three "modes" all the while that those "modes" are in main "modes" or µS or PPM. So, the first settings is whether it is µS or PPM and then the choice of KCl, 442TM, NaCl I have six options and don't know which one I should use. I had zero clue it would be this hard.

Or am I making it to complicated.......

And there was no directions or instructions when the package came....

Any help will help me out madly....

I would like some help here as well, I don't know what mode to use and there are 6...HELP!!!!

Well, my guess would be to use the naci calibration and re calibrate it with 1500ppm solution but its always best to read the instructions.
