Going for 20-25% Amber how long?

this is going to be my second harvest. I will post some pics before I chop them. Right now there is nothing but my HPS light and the pics suck. The harvest will include 3 lemon og kush and 1 white widow. I want to shoot for 20-25% Amber trichomes before I chop them. Here are two pics. The first one is of the WW. she is mostly all white, but I can see a couple that's are still clear/milky. The second is off the top of one of the colas from the LogH. I'm sorry for the pics being taken w/ an HPS. I could try to take some cfl's up to them for better pics. They are in my attic. Also, I had to put my 30x loupe over my phones camera to take these. Just wondering 'about' hoe much longer I have. With the holidays and family in town, I won't be checking on them as often over the next week.

WW. should be able to zoom. iPhone 6s camera + 30x loupe

LogK

Thanks! I'll try to bring them down or take a light up when the kids go to bed so I can get a non HPS pic. I know they are terrible, but when I zoomed in they didn't look that bad.

Omg! Those are horrible! Comment away if you can see...but the HPS colors everything too yellow. I'll post more in an hour or so. Sorry they suck so bad. Good light should show them...the lemon's are pretty covered.

Ok...here are some better ones. just looking for a round about of how long until chop.

Here is a better one of the top of one of the white widow colas. zooming in, i noticed that there seem to be more clear than i originally saw. probably a little longer on this one.

This is the first lemon og kush. Looks a little more milky white

This is the top of the biggest cola from the second LogK

Thanks for any input!

thanks. they will be at 60 days next week. 3-4 more weeks will make them long flowerers for indica dominants. i'm getting a better scope next week. bottom leaves are starting to yellow a bit, so they still have a bit of life left in them.

i just checked out the bank where i got the LogK and it states that it is indica dominant, but it sure doesn't act like it. so another 3-4 weeks on those makes sense. They grew just like sativa dominants with a 2.5x stretch in flower and hardly any fan leaves. But the WW is definitely indica dominant...duh...with it's short, super bushy stature. i figured the WW would finish right around 60-63 days. But i just found a LogK journal and it finished at 75 days.

Nice plants, when someone asks "how long" it always hard, sometime it's the picture, also plants mature at different rateYou can have 2 plants the same, but they will be ready 1week apart. A good loupe, magnifier is the best tool for pinpointing when to cut.

Very few plants actually finish in ~60 days (sativa's can flower fast too, ex. c99); and it's not like your growing clones known to finish early.

Indica's can flower anywhere from 8.5-12 weeks, Sativa's usually flower 10-24 weeks.
I've grown some urkle/ katsu bubba kush clones that you could cut @ 60 days, but I prefer to let them go 10+ weeks for medicinal value.

When you check ripeness, look @ trich. on the calyxes only.
You could have 25% amber on sugar leaves and the bud might not even be fully swollen yet.
When you start seeing ANY amber on fully swollen bud, then it's ready.

Thanks so much! I stated this is my second harvest. The first was a mess. I was traveling so they would go 3-4 days unattended at times. I had a bunch of problems and this time I got it much more dialed in. The pics I posted still aren't great. I have a 60x microscope for my phone coming on Monday. I should be able to get some better ones. But after reading for a couple hours last night after your reply, you're dead on. Which is bitter sweet! They're still packing on weight daily and the white hairs are still dominating the oranges. And the whites are still being replaced often on all 3. Was hoping to quit paying for smoke by the end of 2015. Been a roller coaster of quality the last few weeks.

I'll try to get some full pics of the plants to show a better overall view. Thanks again! I just didn't want to chop too early. With 3 very healthy plants at this stage, it's difficult not to be premature with chopping being such a growing noob.
