God Bud Question

I'm not all that sophisticated with different strains. I've only tried a few different kinds in the last few years. Though I grew up on Panama Red and Columbian Gold, but those were usually just B.S. labels sellers would use to explain the pot's appearance.

I was given some God Bud seeds, grew them and like them. I have been growing it ever since. Can some one who has had BC God Bud explain to me what I'm smelling? Because it sure doesn't smell like the Maui Wowie I smoked in the 60's.

God Bud is a Purple Skunk cross. I forget with what, but the Purple Skunk dominates.

I always get so confused with this genetics stuff, I wish they would come out with a home machine where you can test objectively, smells, flavors, terps, cannabinoid content. Objectivity is what I think would revolutionize the cannabis industry. IF you knew the exact characteristics even the recessive traits that would be mind blowing.

I agree. I think soon enough we'll have labs pretty easily accessible for most. I hope anyway. At least in the States. In Canada I think we're totally fucked.

Close enough. Next I should try to find what "diesel" smells like. I don't think I've even smelled bubblegum or blueberry flavored pot. And the idea something smells like girlscout cookies is mind blowing. I can't hardly wait for stores to open here in Oregon in a few months. Hope to do a lot of window shopping.
