Glaucoma......Help Please.

I have a 2 year old Rottweiler Lab mix and it appears as though she is developing glaucoma. She has a grayish ring in her one eye and through researching it looks like the beginning stages of glaucoma. I know I need to get her to a vet but right now I have changed jobs and do not have the funds to do so. I know our beloved MJ can help relieve the pressure in the eye so I was wondering what was the most effective way of administering it to her? I have never cooked with it. I burn one most every day and occassionally blow some some her way, but I dont think that would be enough to treat this condition.
Help please. She is like one of my children and I would hate to see her go blind.

Yep a good coating of Vevetter cheese make it go down quick. Now the flaw in this tale is how could anybody be able to snag a few oz of good bud to give to a pooch but not be able to make it to the vet? I was born on Thursday but it wasn't last Thursday. Now if there is a logical explanation I am waiting to hear it otherwise I am fixing to call the ASPCA on this deal.

Who said I have oz's just laying around. I grow my own but not much. I use CFL's and all the other supplies I had laying around already. I dont have the money to get her surgery so if you think that I would spend my money on smoke before helping my dog you sir are sorely mistaken. As soon as taxes roll around I will get her in to the vet and spend whatever it takes to get her better but until then natures medicine is all I have access too.

Try not to jump to conclusions next time

Well to my knowledge cannabis releaves symptoms of glaucoma but does not cure it. (not 100% on that, but pretty sure)

My dad has glaucoma and I've been tinkering with treatments for him for a while now. The most successful treatment I've found is tinctures made from the Chemdawg line. The Chem lineage seems to have some properties that effect the eyes.

Been taking Chem 4 or OG Kush grinding it up in a coffee grinder, putting it in a mason jar with a 1/5 of absinthe or everclear, and shaking it up every day for a month then straining it out. Dose size is 1-2 eye droppers.

I have no idea if this will help your dog or not, but it's pretty effective on people.

good luck

Thank you. Im gonna see if I can try something like that. My understanding is that MJ helps relieve the pressure in the eye which is what causes glaucoma. Its just beginning stages I think so I hope there is a solution.

Yes. What you're looking for is a strain that has some sort of visual effect. If you smoke it and everything appears to be more cartoonish looking then you have a winner. Indicas seem to work better than sativas as well.

yea it mainly helps coping with glaucoma, while as well relieving symptoms, thus helping sight clear up a bit. if a dog ingested some bud, it would have quite the effect. while as we need to heat the thc to activate its amazing power, something with such a smaller digestive system will get pretty fucked. a while ago my 14 pound miniature dachshund ate a gram or two of some kush, some very dank buds. she was laid out for the whole day, maybe even a second day lol... we had brought her to the vet cuz my parents were buggin, but my brother didnt want to say she ate his stash..

haha good times.. good times...

beautiful dog btw my friend

Well this has sorta got my funny bone tickled reference the old Cheech and Chong movie where the poodle ate all the dope and they was chasing him around smoking his turds. I can see somebody in hot pursuit of the mini weenie waiting for him to poop with a pack of zig zags in hand:) Who has diagnosed the sick dog in question as having Glaucoma? Distemper will also jack with their eyes. Old Shep had all his shots or maybe just infusions of Acapulco Gold back he was still just a pup? Why dont you just trade the vet some smoke for some free vet care? That should work. Most vets are old college type frat boys who just love the stuff. Or maybe sell the killer weed and use the money to pay the man/lady. Just trying to think of all the angles on this deal.
