Where do you guys get glass jars for curing and storing?? I know some foods come in em (jellies and peppers and such)... but I tried washing one that had peppers in it and the glass doesn't smell at all but the metal lid still smells like peppers and I don't want to cure shit and have it smell spicy... Where do you guys know where to get lids or empty glass jars?

i use old jelly jars and spagetti sauce jars. wash them in the dishwasher twice, including the cap. no smell after that.

Most hardware stores carry them. All of the local grocery stores, dollar stores, walmarts, kmarts... generally have them as well.
