Glass jar curing question

I'm sure the answer is around here somewhere but I can't find it at the moment. When curing in glass jars does the glass jar need to be in the dark, in light, or does it not really matter.

In the GrowFAQs it advises not to use plastic (as well as the book "Cannibis Cultivation.") Because plastic "breathes"

To make a statement such as "Chinese eat cats, and blacks love grape "drink"" is not racist. Its a sterotype and prejudism at best. Racism would say that a race is genetically predisposed to favor such diets, which is false, therfore the concept of racist statements is false.

That's not being racist. Chinese people do eat cat. and dogs. I've seen it as i used to live there.

how long is the longest you can cure bud I was thinking of like saving a jar or two and just curing them for like months, is there like a point when they stop curing?

Doc,

I honostly cannot say from personal experiance, but in the GrowFAQ it mentioned "up to six months." I geuss it's like tabacco, flavor is better with age, but I don't know how age affects potency.

Like most of the finer things in life, sweet, sweet herb only gets better with age and proper storage. Weed will continue to cure for up to 6 months if stored properly. Taste, look, feel, and potency all continue to improve. After about 6 months or so all that can improve will have and you should think about vacuum packing and freezing your nugs. That way you can store them practically forever. Remember, low temps, low humidity, and low light are the key. Heat and light break down thc, and humidity will cause mold. As long as you store your bud in a cool, dark, dry place it should cure and last a long time.

Happy Puffing!
