GH flora series for soil

Hello. I am guna use gh flora series to grow autos in soil. Gh says mix there nutes at a ph of 5.5-6,5. But I read ph should be 6-7 but 6.5 is best. Can anyone guided me on ph

I like using pH 6.2 during veg, to slightly decrease the plants ability to uptake huge amounts of phosphorous and magnesium, as they don't need so much then, then when I switch to flowering, at the flip, I use pH 6.6, to slightly decrease the plants ability to uptake lots of iron, and to also allow the plant to uptake huge amounts of phosphorous and magnesium when they really need it!

I am using the GH Flora series now in soil....liking it a little better then the FF trio. You can use it on photos or autos.

Iam using FFOF soil. So was told not to add gh Floria til about week 4 or when bottom leaves start fading green. Then go with 1/4 nutes from gh feedchart exact follow week by week at 1/4 strenght. What do u think. Any guidance Wud be appreciated

Sounds like sound advice to me. FFOF is a pretty hot soil. ( hot as in very rich with nutrients ) also the advice I would give as well. Less is ALWAYS better with nutrients. It's easier to add more then take away.

If you started in like a Solo cup and you up-pot to a larger pot with fresh soil.....you don't need to feed because the new soil will have enough to get the plants another couple weeks. Let the plant show you what it needs.

I heard best not to transplant autos. Specially for rookies like me. I was guna keep em in peta pucks for aslong as I can. Then put them in final 3 gallon or 5 gallon pot

I would get them in final pot asap so they can start rooting better. Just water around the plant until it grows into the pot.

One thing I wished someone told me. Don’t ph your water until you’re adding nutrients. The soil has buffers. Also you will burn your seedlings. I use plain tap until nutrients.

LOL....I remember chasing my tail a while back wondering wtf was wrong with my grow. I was doing the same thing until I realized the buffers were doing it. Now I know my routine so I dont PH anymore unless in dwc.

Do u know approx how long that

so when I just watering every 3rd feed to help with build up I jut use normal water. But when I add nutes have a ph of 6.5 ?

So Iam going to use just water to very 3rd feed to help clear build ups. So just tap water no ph level. Then when I feed nutes ph water to 6.5 after nute mixing

I use Lucas which uses only the micro and the bloom. When I’m done my ph is usually 6.8. I don’t need to add any ph up/down. ~6.8 is what you’re looking for.

With gh feed chart it tells me to use all 3 veg micro and bloom Is that ok as long as ph is 6.8 and Iam at 1/4 dose due to them being autos. And I also have a flora blend which has kelp in it since I heard that’s plants love kelp and FFOF will run out after a few weeks. So I need to substitute. Any suggestions
