Dont let up on your air flow and watch for bud rot on the big, fat bud if you wait for that. Everything went fine for me but I let up on the flow and it came back to bite me some.
I been picking them and smoking them (the buds) in about a 3 week window for my strain and I cant tell the diff in quality, just quantity after they all go cloudy. Ambers seemed forever to come on but they eventually did. Different smokes for different folks.
No one seems concerned about bud rot but it was a big deal when it showed up just before the chop for me. It is the curse for my successful grows. I also sinned - and flushed about 3 weeks before the chop and that played a role in the rot.............. too many yellow leaves around the buds.
so dont flush unless you are pretty sure of your chop date....... dont stretch it out farther than the nutes available............. Waiting and waiting does give the big, fat ones but eventually it can go too far, especially if you "flush". then dont flush at all.
And there is more than one way and one way only to produce exceptional budsters, depending on your own situation.
jus sayin
