GG#4 day 45 flower pics. Need advice from people who have grown gg#4

What's happening RIU? I'm growing 4 GG#4 clones in hempy buckets under a 600w HPS. I'm at day 45 of flower and am concerned my flowers aren't as large as they should be, but I have never grown GG#4 before.

I still have 23 days until my target chop date, so they still have a lot of time left to swell up. If you've grown gg#4 before please give me your no bullshit assessment on how my plants look for 45 days into flower. Are they where they should be in your experience with gg#4? The buds are very dense and covered in trichomes. I so far am very impressed with the strain and will continue growing it. I'm using Jack's 5-12-26 with calcium nitrate and epsom salt for my fertilizer regimen. Good stuff.

Also, I haven't grown in a few years and I'm a little rusty. I forgot to peel off all that sparse vegetation beneath the canopy and I got a bunch of spindly bullshit branches that couldn't even support their own weight that were pushing out tiny flowers wasting my plant's energy. I got tired of them getting in my way of watering so I just ripped them off the other day on one plant. There were a few very small flowers on them. I dried them and just smoked it with low to very low expectations considering it was really garbage for the most part. I smoked a chillum of it and I'm smiley face baked. I am excited to the tits to smoke an actual bud of this stuff when it's all dried and ready. On with the pictures...

I’ve grown gg4 several times. Yours don’t look that small. Maybe a little but nothing to be concerned with. Plus they should fatten up some. Here was my last gg4 at 6 weeks

Looks frosty, just needs ~three more weeks to bulk up. My assessment is they look good and you will be high! Maybe watch the 321 levels next time, leaves are slightly dark (nothing major).

Thanks man. That makes me feel better. Yours turned out beautiful!

Thanks for the words of encouragement :) I think I need to dial down my calcium nitrate for the rest of the grow. I've heard a lot of people running jack's either eliminate it completely at a certain point or reduce by 50% while increasing the jack's base or adding mono-potassium phosphate and mono-ammonium phosphate to assist with bulking while maintaining the same ppm's. I don't like the idea of eliminating the calcium nitrate completely, because I have no calcium replacement and jack's base has zero calcium. Good eye on the green leaves. I will reduce my calcium nitrate to 50% and either increase the jack's base or add some MKP. I'll have to read up a bit more before I decide.
