Getting started w/ stealth cab - PICS

Hey guys. I'm a new guy to RIU. Yesterday i posted about some issues i was having with my plants. After a visit to the Hydroponics store, ive decided im going to do it right. Since then, ive been doing some reading and learning from some posts on RIU, which has been awesome. I love building things in general, and i'm really enjoying the hobby....its very addictive. I realize this system isnt that great, it actually sucks pretty bad. I'm going to be building a legit stealth system this weekend, and i'll keep you guys updated on the status as its getting built.

But before i build it up, i just want to show you what i did to my current system. It was flawed in many ways, most of which being wayyyy too small, having divided chambers, and the inability to expand to better lights. Today, i found some extra mylar, some contact cement and a little boredom. I decided to get some practice in, and i'll be using this as a clone/veg chamber.

I built this system a few months ago, when i first was contemplating growing. I built a "stealth" cab from some basic supplies laying around the house. its really not that great, but it served as a good learning experience in a few ways. here it is in its original state:

When i built it i thought "hey these partitions would be great for veg and flowering... well that was a terrible idea because its just too small! the area covered in blue insulation foam was a poorly designed vent joke that i came up with. It had 3 server fans in it and drew up the air from drilled holes at the bottom...except it didnt do anything. so. i got the great idea to delete the partitions and the crappy vents.

After a few Yuengling Lord Chesterfields, i went ahead and deleted the crappy system. i figured opening everything would be the best option IMG_0305_cleaned.jpg

Then i found some awesome 3M spray adhesive for the mylar. and also a bathroom vent... took some tweeking, but then i got this:

I realize bends are NOT good for air circulation. this is an issue i'll be addressing with a more powerful inline fan on my next build(any suggestions appreciated). I've been looking at "cool tube" style fixtures, i have 9 large fans i pulled from a computer server rack, so i'll be utilizing them in the next set up.

Next, i installed the fan and the light timer.

and we have light

I'm still learning at this point. any advice, critiques... etc are welcome. Thanks for reading my thread!
